Actually, all car manufacturers seem to suffer from having 'lemon cars'. Problem is how our local dealers/distributors attend to such problem cars... I do know the guys from Club Audi Malaysia and they also have their gripes against the dealer/distributor..

I think there are "lemon" customers too that complaints about everything on the car... :D depending on which end of the stick u are holding..

I know, I am a confused individual.. :p Actually when someone start to complaint about their car, 2 things come to my mind, either the car is really a "lemon" or the owner.. :p

Sorry to hear about all these cases...

Hi mac75my,
How about going to the papers like the Malay Mail or Star to state your points so that at least the upper management beyond the Service Manager would take notice of the situation and hopefully offer some possible actions?

hi guys
i own a bmw motorbike,1 year old and still under warranty
since after my last service at 20k,had been experiencing lots of problem.
did the service in glenmarie and the best part, after the service parked the bike at home only to realize the night later that the engine oil was leaking.many excuses was given by them, faulty seal la,reserve oil la,bla bla bla.
currently engine is very jerky ,no power and top speed reduced to 180km/h only
went in complining bout this on 3 occasions and the remark given by the person incharge, normalla bro.
after persistent complaint, they did sum tightening of tappets and now top speed has dropped to 160km/h
dunno how to go bout this .really wana complaint but at the same time, they are the only servicing guys for the bike section for this region

my advise to anyone out there, bmw bikes are good but not for malaysian market as there are no one good to maintain it
typical malaysian attitude,biasala bang
mind tat i didnt pay 100k for a biasala bang type of bike

hi , u r a motorrader as well ...what bike u riding now ? ya lah bro ... I m sharing the same experience as u r .. i sent my bike in exactly 4 weeks ago for servicing and some warranty things , and still TAK SIAP lagiiiii... reason being too many bikes and too few people .. imagine only nik n jef handling all the bikes in Malaysia that's still under warranty .. so cant really blame them ... have to blame SUPERTOP management lah ... and since last week only Nik alone at the workshop ... pity him .. i think shoddy workmanship is due to lack of manpower ... so evrytg done in a rush ,so i basically told 'em to take their time but when it is ready , it'd better be GOOD.. but I just got some refreshing insight ... CHEAR MOTOR is getting the BMW dealership ... SAPURA was bidding for it but CHEAR got it first ...

the BMW bikes are damn good but the dealership has a lot to be desired ... BIASAKLAA BRO  how about a bunch of us do a petition or something to BMW Malaysia about Auto Bavaria ...

You should ask ab to give you a courtesy car for your inconvenience..

At least bmw car find the problems of the car.. My merc has problem starting after taking delivery of the car for 3 months.. C&C was never able to find the problem of the car or never tried although have taken the car for 14 days to check.. Then that week, after we took back the car with all the excuse from C&C service, the car totally cannot start and has to be tossed back.. They had to replace the cars entire electrical cable as it is faulty..

Then the car has one problem after another.. This year, after only 6 years and 160000 km, the car crankshaft gave way.. How bad quality is a merc.. After taking the car for repair for 3 months and with countless calls and trying to claim merc for product fault, they would not want to repair it.. This car has been serviced by C&C all these 6 years yet.. It had many problems.. 3 weeks ago, the gear box electronic failed, car gear cannot shift and stuck in sports mode.. The crank shaft and gear box electronic has cost me more than rm31k to repair this year.. Including this, I had spend over rm100k repairing this merc..

I think bmw is a lot better.. At least they diagnos the car properly.. Merc cannot even find the problem until total product failure.. And they are willing to change the entire engine.. Which is good..

Mercy will never do that despite all the problems and complains.. They will keep giving you faulty products.. And then charge you crazy price when the warranty is over.. They will not even give me a courtesy car.. And has the nerve to write a legal disclaimer to me.. Both C&C and mer Benz malaysia..

If ab service mobile, how about going to ingress? Or quill? I service my bmw at ingress once .. They did a really good job for me.. Has a rear disk brake failure and they changed the whole assembly..
