lol, remind me of a Dunhill tagline....gaya, mutu, keunggulan.

:listen: ... for the lucky one, yes...but for the unlucky few its more like "gaya, takder mutu dan kehampaan" :(:(:(

For sometime, AB was the sole distributor of BMWs, but now we have choice. There are other options and avenues. Take our money elsewhere if we are not satisfied.

But for Bro Takwee's case, the crap happened after he put his money down.

I thought the unlucky ones should be "loya, kutu, keguguran rambut"

Yes sir, it was disappointing to say. When i was there in the first place, nobody was serving me and this SA was passing by and talked to me. But the rest, is history........

For my case, i was served by a new SA whom knows nothing about car. Barely into the deal, this SA left for VW and I have no choice but to deal with a new SA whom till now is causing me nightmare after another. Sighhhh..... no more rambut to gugur deeeeee

I have to praise Quill, PJ.

I went there a couple of weeks back to see someone at the service centre at the back as i had to order something for my car.

Walking thru the showroom, on the way to the service reception, i was greeted twice by sales personnel who asked if i needed any assistance. At the service reception, they were courteous and friendly. Even while i was waiting, for my receipt, another service advisor asked if i needed any help. This is a far cry from other BMW dealers.

I definitely would buy from them, ANYTIME!!!

The best SA in the world is one who shares the same passion for BMW that we do....I would especially like someone who is fanatic enough to read up everything on the net about all the new developments in the BMW stable even though its still not on our shores-like the F30. A SA that would stay awake waiting for the live streaming of the F30 being rolled out and displayed to the world for the first time....

Anyway im giving my credits to the service advisors team at Pg AB..they have been really helpful to me all the time especially Yunus and Brian..

I vouched for Yunus too. He has been great & helpful.

*Sigh*

Why do we always get lousy service.
Mine was in AB KL.

Before Sale confirmed, everything was very GOOD.
After confirmed, all like SHIT.

I found out that my Pre-Owned car even had a broken tail lamp,
front bumper repainted, buttons repaired.
BUT
before i bought the car, they said it was tip top condition.
Never used.

Felt so cheated.

Tot of suing them, but it'll be a waste of time, effort and money.

*sigh*

I HOPE all you guys buying in future, just be extra careful.
Check everything before putting your down payment.

:listen: ... with all due respect bro, can you please proceed to the Newbies Section to do a self intro as per forum rules and regulation.

As for your above posting, what you have posted here is a very serious allegation and this is very2 serious stuff bro and it works both ways, mind you. Think abt it seriously. If what you say is true, no harm in pursuing in and get what you really deserve. If not, if any of the AB KL guys is reading this, it cud easily backfire on you bro. Think abt it bro.

My personal thought as follows:-

1. If you're after technical stuff abt the car, get a male SA as they tend to be more knowledgeable
2. Once you've decided to buy, choose a lady SA as they tend to be more detailed and meticulous with their follow up and before/after sales service

End of the day, we tend to buy from SA's that we're comfortable with so whatever makes you "COMFORTABLE"

takwee, i can definitely relate to your experience although in a different manner and by different dealership. i got from ingress and i tell you the SA did ruin my experience as well..
1. when i need to pay the downpayment all of a sudden i got a different quotation. Luckily i saved the previous quotation and show it to the SA.
2. I paid my booking on 15 Nov, gave all the necessary documentation for loan right there and then. Was promised to get the car on 26th. Did not happen!
3. Repromise delivery for 29th lunch time. waiting since 10.30am, lunch time still no car. I asked them to send me back to work and pick me up when it is ready. I got the car at 6pm.

another thing i would like to mention is the receptionist and tea lady at ingress. they're not that friendly.. there are 3 of them and a few times i went there none bother to ask if I need help or who i came to see... the tea lady most of the time is not at the cafe area or anywhere near, and even if she's there, never go and ask customer if want water or what.. I had better experience at Honda and perodua..

On the positive side, the service guy that was helping me was very good. His explanation and treatment was first class!

I concur to your statement about tea lady and receptionist. Tea Lady seems to choose who to ask. But Service Advisor are most of the time professional and explained all work done professionally. Although I have a strange experience when it is BSRI job, they don't give me print out of what they do. But if I pay for the service myself.. they will print it out cos you have to acknowledge the cost. Did this happen to anyone here that service at Ingress?

Other than that... they service and attention to issues raised are usually attended to without any issue. I have no problem with the work done there. Just the receptionist/tea lady not so friendly..

Doc, in that case, I am qualified to become a good BMW SA....

I have an update on the tea lady at ingress. Yesterday I went, it seems there is a new tea lady there.. or maybe I just have not seen her before. She seems more customer friendly and always at the Cafe area. The one before this was always missing... so this one is definitely better.

The warranty claim that I did twice so far was given a yellow slip of what to be done..

The service guys there is very good. Although my car is only two weeks old, I had a couple of issues which was attended to professionally. They even waited for me yesterday until 7:45pm as I'm stuck almost 2 hours at stupid LDP jam. If you're reading this, thanks a lot guys!
