Did it pop up as an error code during a diag? Why dun you try a diag first to confirm?

No error code as degraded O2 sensors won't appeared during diag.

If you still want to continue trying to push your product in this forrum, I won't be surprise that you will be ban by the Committee member.

Guys,

I think my pre-cat O2 sensor are degraded as my fuel consumption from OBC is showing 12.6L/100km. Anyone knows what is the price for pre-cat O2 sensors??

Herbert,

IMHO, normally spark plugs, air filter+ MAF and O2 sensors will affect directly to our fuel consumption and/ the engine performance. If the first two parts have been checked to be working nicely, than normally it is the O2 sensor that needs to be checked. Worn out O2 sensors will give wrong data/input to the ecu hence not so efficient calibration of the air fuel ratios hence affecting the fuel / power. This is true to all cars. Please try.

Bros,

I suspect my pre-cat O2 sensor has degraded hence the poor fuel consumption. Checked with GT1 but no fault code appeared. Would like to ask whether anyone has a spare working condition pre-cat O2 sensor as I would like to try it out before getting a new one. Thanks.

I dont think its long before you will be banned by the committee if you continue pushing you product here bro. This is not a commercial forum. Its ok to recommend products once in while I guess but looking at your post up till now almost all of it is about pushing your own product.

Watch it.

I installed PIVOT MEGA RAIZIN voltage stabilizer 2 weeks back. Connected the unit directly to the battery terminals, easy.
I have been using RON97 BHP before installation. Similar driving pattern and my usual routine route to and from work. I am still using RON97 BHP and my mileage has improved!. I am now clocking 11lit/100km when I usually clock about 11.7/100km. The last fill was 50lits for 460km. I also notice my HID now works better, last time, sometimes I need to switch off and on again cause one side sometimes don't light up. Now, all OK! Somehow I guess better stable voltage to our electronics, the car runs smoother..guess it helps...

just to share..
used to be getting 10.6L/100 before remap,
after remap, cruising at 170km/h am getting 10.3L/100..
am trying to get 10L/100 if possible..will update if that happens.

light throttle bro herbert. i find myself tapping the pedal more rather than stamping on it. but then, this is just easy cruising without force, unlike rempit drive we did, i was running around 10.6~10.7L/100.

well fuel consumption very much depends on who is driving.. heheh..

my 528i goes around 12 litre/100km when my wife is driving and when i am hitting the pedal in town, it gets as high as 14.5-15...

on the highway..i get as low as 8.9-9.2.

on the rons. . theoritically, anything above 95Ron is waste of money as the ECU are design to run 91 to 95. actually it will also run at 89 as most gas pump in US is running on 89. so.. if u can tell teh difference between the different pump fuel. u must be heck of a driver. most time it is actually psycological.

I bulid equipment for all the pump station and i check on chemical & physical properties of their fuel consistently and i can tell you, the difference are minute and changes with weather. not really much different from Shell or petrona or exxon.. bla bla bla..

wah guys pls stop using RON 95 as I got very good lesson using it coz my engine start to have jerking problem and the engine stops at traffic lights or when the car in idle mode..I cant drove my car and my mechanic asked me the 1st question what petrol im using coz RON 95 not suitable and its cost me around RM900 to change 2 cam pulse sensor .since the day I never think about RON 95 ...pls avoid it...

Bro,
Is this your first time using RON 95? I don't think it's the petrol unless it has been mixed with other "substance"?
Not fair to make such sweeping statements on RON 95?

Bro I think u need to consider other mech. Stated at fuel cap Ron 91 to 98. So far been running on BHP Ron 95 all the way from the time they changed to Ron 95 for both my 528 & 328. Been giving me good petrol consumption & power too. In general I satisfied & saving of petrol is a bonus.

Damansara - KLCC daily...70% on traffic crawl. I'm getting 12L/100km...but i think if i drive, i can get better mileage.

guys...KM or MILES? our speedometer shows MILES right?

speedometer or odometer or the fuel consumption? if your car is imported from uk, it'll show both miles and km on the speedometer, but the odometer depends on your setting, it can be changed. it'll say whether km or miles on the cluster
