which translated to 5.3L - 7.9L per 100km. (given the price of oil is rm1.90)

quite impressive fuel consumption. me also never get that figure on both previous and current car.

I dun think any bmw can get that figure except diesel or hybrid

The best way to calculate fuel consumption is to fill up your tank full and set your km mileage odometer to zero. Then in your next fill up divide your petrol consumption wt the mileage u done then u got the cost of cent per km. After that u can translate to any term u prefer

Maybe my calculation is wrong.
Normal driving town 60-90km/h but driving back home my speed only 118/kmh got 11.5-15.0 km/L..that is my speed on karak-lpt...set auto cruise...my be wrong calculation...
To avoid the speed trap so better drive within the speed limit...

Use an app called roadtrip - this way you can record all maintenance and calculate fuel consumption for you

i just acquired a year 2000 E39 528i. FC is at 14.3L/100km when i got it and before my MAF change a week ago. Now its clocking at 16.3L/100km after coming back from the workshop. Not sure why. Probably because they were test running the engine. Its starting to come down to 15.4L/100km

Driving so far in urban condition.

Not sure if these figures are normal for a 528i

Mine doing 17.5L/100kms

how do you track the fc? by looking at the cluster or using other methods/apps? i don't think my cluster is giving me correct fc because the value is different when compared to my other fc tracking apps.
