Really? my previous experience was on Japanese marque for ron95. so for BMW ron 97, should i try ESSO, Caltex or Petronas?

For my engine in particular it's Caltex97, BHP97, Shell97 and Esso97 is a tie ... Am on esso95 Petronas95 xtra comes a close 2nd.

o2 sensor part number is vary from car to car. Make sure u buy the correct one.

Mine 2003 CKD 520i shows 11.2L/100km 80% hway driving 20% city but if stuck in jam for a long time than it start to show 11.6L/100km to 11.8L/100km.

The last time i changed my ATF and filter, Optimum erased my adaptation value reset etc.
After that i drove it on the hway manage to get 10.6L/100km lowest i came across but slowly it started to go up now stays at at a range 11.2L/100km until 11.8L/km i also confused whether anything wrong so far no error code or faults detected.

I use BHP RON 95 full tank can give me 520km to 550km i travel daily from Sri Damansara to Cyberjaya.

Roughly how much $$ per tank?

Fuel consumption seems quite ok.

my full tank is about RM110..and managed to get only 400+km, 60% city 40% hway..., previously got engine overheated problem. Some ppl said engine overheated will affect fuel consumption too..dunno how true is it?

when i drive my 525, i average 11.9l/100km. wifey averages 14.6l/100km. on h/way doing 110, i get 7.7l/100km. just enjoy the drive lo

My 2004 (Japan Spec) 525i E60 showed 14.14L/100km drive in Segamat (small town in Johor) which only has 2 traffic lights. I think my FC is too high, right !?.

Is there anything wrong with my ride? What should I look for?

How u calculate to get 10 to 15 cents per km. So far in my bmw experience never get that figure even for highway travel. Its more like myvi fuel consumption redy.

0.1 -0.15 cents per km = rm10 - rm15 per 100km

which translated to 5.3L - 7.9L per 100km. (given the price of oil is rm1.90)

quite impressive fuel consumption. me also never get that figure on both previous and current car.
