yup serious..i realise my FC is way too bad for city driving..
juz climbed cameron highlands and back, manage to clock 560km on 1 tank (petronas primax 95) and still have quarter tank left..

I thought for auto cars, we must not put to neutral and let the car roll down freely? Thought it will burn the clutch? Correct me if I'm wrong though

My 520i M54B22 mileage is
highway outstation = 50lits = 630km - constant between 120kmh-140kmh
tyre pressure front=31, rear=36 on 17" 235/45 It was even better running on 16".
notice my optimum cruising speed is 140kmh-150kmh, nice speed and low consumption

in town = 65lits for 550km stop/go traffic
tyre pressure same front=31, rear=36

all on Shell97, non VPOWER.

clean my K&N drop-in filter every 10k service, clean myself. clean MAF too using MAF cleaner but not often.

Here's the update on my 2nd tank using BHP RON 95:

Refilled 3rd full tank with BHP RON 95 this morning
OBC indicate RANGE 683 km.
OBC Consumption 11.9L/100km
FC is RM0.197 per km.

Before your 3rd refill, how many KMs did you manage to clock on your 2nd tank? Reading off your trip counter.

Clocked 516 km on 2nd tank and then refilled 3rd full tank for RM102. FC OK??

I always believe the OBD is not accurate. Full tank to full tank is the best method. Based on the above, RM 102 works out to 56.66 litres. Then, the consumption = 9.1 km per litre. Fantastic :top:

I tend to agree with you re accuracy of OBC. Manual method still the best.

yes, i'm using 235/45 R17 all round on BBS (8.5 therefore must be 235/45) and Hankok tyres (S1 Evo). I will try RON95 BHP in my next fill to try out.

I think my pre-cat O2 sensor are degraded as my fuel consumption from OBC is showing 12.6L/100km. Anyone knows what is the price for pre-cat O2 sensors??

Did it pop up as an error code during a diag? Why dun you try a diag first to confirm?
