To avoid any lawsuit from BMW in the future, so take out the BMW logo.

Sumore the boss intent to involve in other fields and use back the same 'bayern' name, so removed the 'motor works' from the signboard..:listen:

Ha ha...

Smart thing to do....dont want to get in trouble with the Giants. Have you got any idea whether they do wheel alignment?

bro,
8.2km per litre is not that bad coz' E34 body is rather heavy. Mine is about 8.5 km per litre (city driving) and 10 km per litre (highway) for a 2.2 litre E39 running on RON 95

herbert,
T2ribena is correct. Your ride works out to be 8.5km per litre which I thought was OK. Try using BHP petrol for 2 full tanks and share the experience.

Just an update using BHP 95.

22 Feb 1st full tank on BHP 95, OCB indicate RANGE 585 km (12.1L/100 km)
05 Mar 2nd full tank on BHP 95, OCB indicate RANGE 660 km (12.0L/100 km)

Having just finished my 1st full tank on BHP, I don't feel there is much difference between BHP, Shell & Petronas in terms of power. But certainly a difference in RANGE as indicated above.

Did you actually manage to clock close to that mileage when you're done with that 1st full tank? How far a range did it take you for that 1 full tank?

Did not clock my mileage for the 1st tank. However did clock mileage for 2nd tank and will update later on.

my 525 gave me about 7.5km per litre in pure city driving - a lot of jam, stop and go, and the occasion zoom zoom adrenalin rush.

Here is my FC:

RM50 go for 280km (80% highway 20% stop-go)..Not bad arr..

1st u fill up full tank & set yr odometer to zero. Then u drive as usual until u finish the almost full tank. Refill wt full tank again. The RM u refill divide the mileage u clock at odometer. There u get the figure:top:

You put gear to neutral going downhill ???

Explain bro ...

On neutral gear no direct connection from engine to gearbox then to the shaft then to the tyre then to the road. So less grip.

And there is no engine braking involved. At least you can cool off your brakes by not using it and let the engine do the braking instead. Such as leaving it in low gear probably 2nd if it's really really steep or 3rd if it's not so steep. Safer way of descending a hill.
