alrite, thanks. i'll check with him.

yep, mine's intermediate....hopefully still will be able to salvage it by the oil change else will have to wait another 6 months for a top overhaul than.

Whoops. Apologies for the wrong terminology. Yup its the oil-lifters. Mine was making noise constantly, and after changing the all 24 lifters it didn't help. Later it was found that the holder was the reason for the noise.

An oil change might solve the problem???? :( my mech (now ex-mech) didn't even offer that option.

1)Eibach spring+bilstein sport absorber RM2600 2)BERH radiator RM750 3)4pcs ball joint panjang+pendek and control arm bush(heave duty) RM500 3 Item price include workmanship. B)

My latest and hopefully last maintenance for my E36...

Darn drivers door jammed and cannot open. The central locking is still functioning well. The problem lies with the locking mechanism, the latching part. Internally broken. Had to "torch" and whack that part out. Not sure how much it is gonna cost me for labour and replacement. According to my mech, this is the first time he has seen this happening.

Gonna be driving an E34 tomorrow. Maybe my babe is merajuk because I am selling her away?

Yeah, so that you can finally list down something ... like your AC project ... since you have little maintenance to list ..... :yahoo:

Airconditioning problem :

The compressor was slow to kick in, so the AC blows nothing but hot air for up to five minutes the first time it is started.

Went to a well-known local expert. Within ten minutes, he traced it down to a faulty relay. Problem solved by removing it to clean the contacts.

Cost? Zero.

And the aircond expert? None other than Naidu.

I was so impressed, I insisted he service my compressor anyway, just to give him some business.

Subsequently, I had the faulty relay changed for RM90.

What does the Vanos performance kit does ? I assume it is different from the Vanos repair kit as it cost half as much ?
The ACS dead pedal also souns like a replica as the ori ons cost about RM 900.
Can you let me know where to get the Sebring muffler and M3 mirrors?
Thanks
