a lot of questions here and let me answer this here this time. Anymore questions, let's create another thread ok?

muscle:
for me no major slippage that I noticed. More jerkiness on 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd at low speeds and sometimes high speeds.
Also found leakage at the gearbox. Dismantling it showed some water seeped through the leaking gearbox. Water came from condensation of the cooling coil.

flash:
yes, 10k kms to run-in.. quite long don't you think?? that's like almost 6 months for me.. Haha

I've overhauled my gearbox twice, never been told by the mech to run in

The 1st overhaul done 1 year ago was not a good one. The problem was that i experienced jerkiness in upshifting and after the 1st overhaul, the jerkiness was not 100% eliminated. Then came slippage problem for 3rd to 4th upshifting when the engine is cold. Last month the gbox farked up during my trip to JB and i send my car for gbox overhaul a gbox specialist in JB. Very good job and cheap, less than 3K

Today bill

Finally I got my ACS anti roll bar bushing front and rear :yahoo: :yahoo:

Total cost for the bushing - RM235 (PU unit)

Waiting for the shipment for about a month and add another 4/5 days for custom clearence. :(

Went to TAI SOON TYRE SERVICE (RECOMMENDED) to get it replaced.
Total cost - RM40

Good service and the boss very helpful. :eek:k:
If anyone looking for rims HAMANN / RACING DYNAMICS / BBS / BREYTON you can go there and look for the consultant Chin Kiat (SMG rider). I believe all the rims are original and I'm sure he can give u good price.
A guy from SPEED ZONE MOTORSPORTS recommend me to use BMC Air Filter (F1 Power Tech) for my ride. He said you can feel the different without effecting your fuel consumption. Anyone using it ?

My oil filter housing leaking again. Not even a year I changed the oil seal. Normally how long can tahan ?

Anyone experience rebuild gbox at M-SCOPE ?

Mind telling us where and who?

3K full overhaul is cheap. I can't find anyone that can do less than 4.5k here. Majority of them will touch 5k.

If in JB, my guess is the mech got the parts from SIN as they sell the full overhaul kit for SGD280 now(% priced and its FULL parts).

MH,

I was wondering about the same thing ... Let's see if Spetnaz can tell us which shop it was. Pretty good price really. Hey, are you from JB too ?

Cheers,

This is the PM that he send to me yesterday ... U guys check n update me ok ... :D :D

Bro, the workshop is in Tampoi Industrial Park, JB. U can contact Kenny Liew, the boss there hp no 019-7702991. Their website is www.khangauto.com. I'm not associated with them, just a very happy customer. Yes, definately they can do your 325 bcoz this shop deals only with autobox. I saw few Singaporean cars there up on the hoist likes Puegot 206, E Class, the new Nissan Fairlady, all with gbox problems.

I found them very sharp in diagnosis gbox problem and cheap. I'm impressed the way they fully utilised the capability of the handheld diagnosis machine (the Modic compatible machine) to trace the fault of my gbox. For my E36 318, it cost mere Rm2650 only! (My first overhaul at local workshop costed me RM3800 and poorly done!

KATC is it? No wonder la :D Yeah, they specialize in transmissions. They got quite some hi-tech diagnotic/rebuilding/testing equipments.
