fuel pump is brand new. OEM though. Made in Germany (VDO brand).
Ori BMW RM1xxx per unit. Too expensive for me. My old pump also OEM and it last for 7 years before started to get weaker.

Did the wrap at Ah Kit's cushion place. I change the look to the Msport black. It's not ori look anymore, black has better resistance to greasy hands.

My E36 has been with me for 5 ½ years now and I have travelled over 82k km.

It has served me well throughout the last 5 years and I will be sad to see her go but I just don’t have space to keep her with the arrival of my E90.

I was just going through my records and have made a summary of my E36 Experience which is as follows:-



2007(12000km)

April -purchased the car (79895km) RM40k

April--initial repairs (Oil Service, ATF, Power Stering Absorbers, Thermstat, Valve Cover Gasket & Seal, Spark Plugs, Fuel Filter, Axle Oil Brake Fluid, Coolant etc )(RM6k)

May - resprayed car/changed color to black(RM4k)

June - replaced cylinder head, air filter, changed brake pads and rotor (R), changed tyres, tie rod(RM8k)

Sep -Oil Service, Coolant, Air Con Filter

Nov - new armrest

Dec -exhaust extension , inspected car @AB, Oil Service, ARB Bush & Lower Arm Bush

tie rod cheap only... 1 side rm125 excluding bellow and workmanship.... normally change both side.

the feeling is like what u say. to be sure need to check with mechanic.
