Dear all,

I have just refreshed my suspension with the following parts;

1) Outer Lower Arm Ball Joint (Near the wheel)=RM72/pc
2) Inner Lower Arm Ball Joint = RM50/pc
3) Lower Arm Mounting (M3 Type) = RM145/pair
4) Front Absorber Mounting = RM72/pc
5) Rear Absorber Mounting = RM32/pc
6) Front Damper = RM23/pc (Do not need as the B8 shaft is too huge for the ori damper)
7) Rear Damper = RM28/pc (This you need)
8) Bilstein B8 (monotube) = RM2700
9) H&R=RM1000 (Plus a Hypertune Mag for F.O.C)

Results after 1 month of trial
Driving Experience: Fantastic road handling on highways. Dont feel much body-roll now as compared to ori setup and highly recommended if you are serious about driving or at least enjoy driving. Downside, really need to go slow on bad roads. After changing my suspension, I have been driving slower on normal roads. Once the highway opens up......ecstasy! Tried a lot of bumps & ramps, cleared most. Probably due to springs (H&R) more than the abs.

Look-wise: Layman terms, 1 1/2 fingers for the front and no fingers at the back. To be more exact, 3/4 of an inch for front and no gap at the back. The front does dip lower than the back.

Hope this info would help any1 who is interested to upgrade their suspension to Bilstein B8 & H&R setup.

hey, it wasn not the whole alternator proplem, it was just
voltage regulator which was hidden inside the alternator,

164225 km's on the clock... switch back to semi as my last service was at 160000 in Dec 08 using Ravenol Fully syn, i cant wait that long!

1. Havoline Semi 10W/40 6.5Litres - $158
2. Oil Filter - $38

5. Vanos Hose - $125
6. Power Sterring Fluid - $35
7. Engine Oil Additive REVO - $38
8. Steering Rack (Chop Shop) - $650 3 months warranty
9. Texstar Front Pads - $110
10. Allignment & Adjustments - $65
11. Labour - $450

Total - $1815

Chop Shop Steering Rack SCREWED leakin all over the place, returned wt money back and ended up buying a re-furbished rack from my mech, almost new... :top:

1. Steering Rack - $1500 6months warranty
2. Power Sterring Fluid - $35
3. Allignment - $35
4. Labour - $150

Total - $1720

i dropped my 1999 e36 318 at seong hoe's to let them fix the wing mirror motor the other day. Found out that i need to change the oil seal as well.

So the counter starts ticking (got my 2nd hand bimemr 3 weeks ago):

Oil seal (crankshaft), aftermarket: Rm45
labour: Rm92.40 (incl. Tax)

wing mirror motor (used parts): Rm60
labour: Rm20

total:rm217.40

friendly service advisor they have there; got my car fixed reasonably fast; have a very knowledgeable service manager with 25 years of experience dealing with bimmer. k:
