e36 parts & maintenance

bro sach ,
mine is having a minor leak too . was recommended by a parts dealer to use
"stop leak" type power steering fluid ( Super-ex brand , think it's like RM20/125ml )
Suppossedly it will cure & prevent the seals from leaking further .
Been using it for pass 6 months but every month i still have to top up like 1/2 an inch
- will see how long i can bare with it :listen:

the rear end starts to sounds like driving on the yellow line

workshop traced it to worn rear bearing .

left & right bearing = RM240
workmanship = RM140
total = RM380

I went to accessory shop to install my ICE from previous car to my E36.
The guy took off my compartment while installing.
after my ICE finish installed and went home. my ori alarm refuse the lock and having beep sound when i press my alarm button.
I think my E36 central locking didn't lock when i drive the car.
all sifus n bro, any advises? coz the guy is running out of ideas and me too

What model is yr previous car? Dun just send yr bimmer to ordinary shop. E36 maybe old BMW model but the technology is way better than today's car:top:

could be brake switch faulty or not put back properly, inside dash under ur sterring..

previously i'm owned a face lifted '0. toyota vios.
i agreed that the E36 is way better in every aspect. :top:
giving me a different driving feeling..

I have tried bro sachseelan's recom. but still not able to fix. but later we have figured it out.

Solutions:
all was due to the car boot lock.
we recheck the wiring of 4 doors and boot lock
the guy accidently disconnect the wire while dismantling my car backseat. can't blame him, the wire to car boot been replaced since old old time.
after reconnect & seal back the wire,everything is working well.. phew! :top:
