Hi Megatniza, where did you purchase the headlights? RM280 per pair (non-dimple type) seems reasonable. The local made front windscreen sounds reasonable too. Care to share? Thanks

Thankfully my A pillar still ok. Touch wood.
>>>mine is gone - had to resort to epoxy it !

I hate the B pillar though. Mine is all cracked already. Worst part is it's a rare item even at the chop shops cause usually that's where they chop the car in half!
>>>ditto !!

Megat, I've been seeing a lot of these TRW made disc around these days. Care to share with us how it is performance wise?

>>>honestly , i cant feel any difference - well , except i feel more confident now ...he he he .
As previously mentioned , the braking was still very good but the old disc is like 1/2" thick only .

I recently purchased the stock BMW brake pads but I've yet to fit it on since I'm waiting for the disc. My mechanic said it has a superb bite so I thought might as well give it a try once to see how good it is.
>>> actually I wanted to try lemforder but no stock . they are about the same price .

hello all...

New problem... OBC - CHECK COOLANT LEVEL...

Message appears only when turn off engine, once start it goes off.. never appear at all while driving!

Temp needle is rock steady at centre, checked expansion tank regularly, water level also ok...

I suspect its the sensor beneath the expansion tank, or what else could it be? problem on and off for about 2 weeks now...

PS: changed new expansion tank a few months ago.

thanks all...

Under the expansion tank sach. Sometimes you can try knocking the sensor a bit.

My mech said have to be careful with the sensor one especially when you replace the expansion tank. A lot of cases the sensor becomes faulty when you replace the expansion tank.

hi laofer..

murah saja bro, i bought around RM60 at bavarian auto.. but carefull to diy it, if not confident try get mechanic.. from my experience, you still need to use the stud bold from the previous ( ori ) to fix it back
at expansion tank..

Sach the other sensor that is sticking out of the radiator is for the aux fan. Makes the fan run faster when your water temperature is too high.

04/04/09 - WEAR & TEAR

Labour: RM90.00
- to renew front Tie Rods
- top up power steering fluid

Parts: Lemforder
- Tie Rods RM350.00
- Tie Rod Cover [L] RM35.00
- Allignment RM35.00

TOTAL: RM510.00

 PS: While changing tie rods, realised that stering rack has a small leak on one side...
Mech recon a re-condition unit for RM1.5K with 6 months warranty!! Any comments?? Ponteng work, No enuff time to change the coolant sensor... damn! I will replace it in Ipoh Garage when im back there next week.

Bro I think 1.5k is quite expensive but not sure. My suggestion, get yr rack overhaul wt repair kit. After dissamble the rack, check out the steereng rack shaft if it still ok then good to overhaul.

hi mi.. yup yup, bro loafer just informed me to.. and it cost only 300 fr the repair kit.. worth trying!! Cheers...
