why don't you press it and see? Do it while you are crusing in 4th gear, at abt 80 kph. You'll be pleasantly surprised and will love your car even more.

it engages a different shift program, ie. shifts at different points, giving you more power when you need it.

Actually I had tried that & I didn't know abt it till a fren told me. It really gave a new meaning to the term "Step-on-it"!! Like engaging an after-burner!! Wow!! Another fren sitting beside me was shocked! :unsure: :blink: ...all he can say was "waaaa.......so fas wan ah"
I like to relate another incident. A fren who introduce the car to me was driving it on the MRR2 with me at the side. Suddenly he told me "get ready, I'm going to jump lane". I don't know how he did it but with a sudden twist of his hands, he made the car literally jump from one lane to the next!! The thing is it was a smooth action, though very sudden and the car was really steady. Naturally I was a bit pale!! Just to prove it was no fluke, he did it again and jump the car back to the original lane. I kind of like the second jump more! WOW!!! If its my Wira, I have no doubt it will end up against the divider or the kerb. Great manoeuvre, but no way I'm gonna try that!! :lol:

hello my friends, the day my meter box the lamp is a gear box was on,after then the car can't star it, after 2 day then i know is the gear box oil too old.
the gear box oil same like the proton wira 1.5 auto gear box.hahahahahaha

This cooling coil recond or new, or is it servicing the cooling coil. I thought/was told the cooling coil for E36 is RM6++ to RM7++. Care to confirm as my cooling coil need to be change.

just wanna know how much it cost for ABS....?i dunno whether it was ABS kit or ABS system.my frn told me tht his mech told him the things will cost him around 5k for new one....he's driving e36 318.tq

The cooling coil is new.. according to Naidu there are 2 type of cooling coil..
the first one is aluminium and the other one is copper..
mine is aluminium...
not much different actually in term of the price.. for copper(if i;m not mistaken) only cost RM400...

If you are looking for those brembo covers, you could actually get them in one of the auto shops on the 3rd level in mid valley. Happen to pass by the shop just yesterday, do not know whether it fits though. :yes:

You could change to sports mode when you need a sudden surge of power as your rpm would be pulled up to 6500rpm when sports mode is on, on the down side, it's gonna drain your tank fast. :yes:

Top up oil and AC gas - RM40

Brought car to Naidu's early morning. Stuck in PJ/Sunway/USJ jam. Removed compressor for servicing. Went to USJ with no AC. Sweating like mad. Jam like hell. @#%!#$@#$!@.

Back at Naidu's at 4pm. Raining!! Oh my.
Was it worth it? Oh yes. The aircond is realy nice now and the engine is purring when the compressor is on. Idle also spot on 700rpm.

Really sympathetic towards your situation, if you are willing and travels to Singapore regularly. I could intro one of the top bimmer mechanics there to you. He is very good with the E36ers and is driving an M3 E36 himself. The name of the shop is BVO and is located at Sin Ming Industrial Estate, think is BLK 15. The workshop owner is Bernard, he can be reached at his mobile +65 96825571. Reasonable cost and most importantly he is able to rectify the problem. Just trying to help.

air cond bearing ( ?? ) RM120
top up gas & labor : RM50

last weekend - alternator kong
recon set : RM440
labor : RM40

one after another wooor
- this month wa makan loti looor .........

but still . the price of driving the UDM .........priceless .
