Car went bonkers again, took personal loans to repair car, got disowned by parents, wife threatening divorce, etc. Its still a great machine when in its element and i've been holding on. Thanks for ur PM, will see ur chap tmrow if all goes well.

Manamohan,

you need to stop this insanity soon before you go broke or end up hating ur car. You got PM.
Agreed man, its falsampah, cos car comes first. Lee, ur chap had a lookat it. Wants to strip off engine covers to check all hoses, sensors and inlet valves plus rule out cylinder head leak (Shudder...!) Changed some small parts but no improvements. Had it with a another guy who specializes in preventive autocare, sometime earlier. They said an intake sensor valve was definately the problem. Plus $110.00 to decarbonize engine. Also a suggestion that engine top needs to be opened up to detect leaks at air intake valves. Plus another suggestion to clean injectors and drain AT fluids since they may cause a load on engine which may cause the idling to constantly try to reset itself. Off course, nothing worked. Car less powerful after decarbonizing. Think i'm better off leaving the idling problem as it is. Sigh

By the way, Che Burn, you can rest assured that BMWs like mine are difficult to find in Malaysia. More so, one in pristine condition. But bini baru(enhanced version), senang cari bang...era Malaysia Boleh, duit pun senang cari

Lowered the window and CLONK. Oh no!!!

Fuel odor in rear cabin and sluggish throttle response:
Fuel line between the two fuel pumps
8mm - RM90
12mm - RM90

Upah - RM40

Done at MSpeed.

Just check by my mech due to unstable idle if gear put in 'D' position or switch on air cond, my idling will shaky. My mech says that it because of idle valve problem. Have clean it up before and now he says time to change with the new one.

It will cost me around rm600. Is it the right price? Or I can get more cheaper at somewhere else... :dunno: :beaten:

Quoted by BA SS2 for Idling Valve. It cost me rm552 for e36 325i '94. Got somewhere else cheaper than this? :D

Thanks

Mr. Juancarlos, you change all air cond part for japanese brand or original germany brand?

I dropped my 1999 E36 318 at Seong Hoe's to let them fix the wing mirror motor the other day. found out that i need to change the oil seal as well.

So the counter starts ticking (got my 2nd hand Bimemr 3 weeks ago):

Oil Seal (Crankshaft), aftermarket: RM45
Labour: RM92.40 (incl. tax)

Wing Mirror Motor (used parts): RM60
Labour: RM20

Total:RM217.40

Friendly service advisor they have there; got my car fixed reasonably fast; have a very knowledgeable service manager with 25 years of experience dealing with Bimmer. :eek:k:

Just got my '95 325 b4 CNY. Cost me 1K to change the radiator assembly (inclusive of workmanship). A pair of rear absorber mounting cost me rm80. Great car! What's the S mode for? The car has more than enuf power for me, very steady at high speeds. Compared to my Wira, it's like heaven and earth!

RM1000 for radiator (plus workmanship)?? Original? If BEHR should be around 600

S = sports mode

Congrats on the new purchase and welcome to the club

Air cond belt - Ori BMW RM 100
Labour - RM 25

Where? - Naidu

Just a note of caution, i used the OEM german belt previous to this and it costed me ard half the price of ori but only lasted 5mths before worned out. IMO, better to go with ori for this. Apparently lasts more than a year. Will monitor.

crymson,
The radiator actually cost rm680. The rest of the 1K goes to spark plugs, one set of door handle rubber and workmanship.
