Yup,love that stretch.. this was where I had an encounter with a tuned 350Z complete with a gt-wing and big-arse exhaust driven by a young punk wearing a baseball hat.Needless to say he was very very surprised when he was overtaken at full pelt on the outside lane by a family sedan(my e60-RIP) while taking a medium speed curve,his 350Z at the limits:burnout:

Don't blame me:dontknow: I was minding my own business when he came to within an inch of my rear bumper.Don't these punks know there's a switch there that can trigger a Mr Hyde in everyone:wink:

I think the 335i is hazardous to my health..I kid u not,I was chased by an unmarked police Perdana last nite:32: Was on my way home from meeting a friend from Dubai,was around 7.30pm.I was pressing on and didn't look back.He simply disappeared from my windscreen after a short while,but that blue light still haunts me,dayyymmm!

The TS2 is still available.Hard sell la that.. I cancelled the GolfGTi booking since my wife was against getting it.If not,I wud probably end up with a mk6 GTi and a Sylvia S15R.Not bad.In the end tho,I burned my budget for two cars into one car..the 335i 4door.

Wondering if its possible to compile infos on speed trap locations.Been very hazy so far.. I don't travel by car much,so my knowledge on this is negligible at best.

There are many sites that share info on trap locations. It's quite easy once you're attuned to it, because the same locations are picked by the coppers every time, mostly 80 or 90 kmh zones. I make it a hobby to spot the laser guy to alleviate the boredom of a highway drive. Today I looked at the usual spot after Selangor Club going towards Kiara, and there he was! Sure enough, round the corner and it's a full ops. Lots of cars got flagged.

Tip: I always thought there are no traps after dark. Last year I was flagged in a full ops on the Connaught Highway going towards Cheras in a full ops, and it was JUST PAST MIDNIGHT! I got away with it though because I had a good excuse, that the copper could see was true.

Trapster is a realtime traffic info sharing app among iphone users. You can state whether there's an accident or roadblock at a specific location at that point of time and other Trapster users will receive info about it. Quite useful BUT you must switch on your app all the time for it to be truly useful.

There is also another switch to go back - its labeled GF or WIFE....

You can state whether there's an accident or roadblock at a specific location at that point of time and other Trapster users will receive info about it. Quite useful BUT you must switch on your app all the time for it to be truly useful.

If you have Push Notification ON it will buzz and alert you when someone posts a trap nearby without having the application on. Only problem is that there are idiots out there who post wrong info like redlight camera when there isnt one or stupid stuff like "dangerous curve" when its only a mild curve which you can normally take at 80kmh. (Maybe cos they drive a clapped out 1970s datsun with bald tyres or something).

The residents around this area know this trap well and they wouldnt be caught. You will notice that the expensive cars just drive by and its the protons and kancils that get caught as they zip past the mercs and bmws. bwahaha!
