That's what I understood too, however when I travelled to S'ban & back with Waze (for Android) switched on, via KL-S'ban hiway, I received no warning for AES.
southbound from kl usually only sniper hid behind bushes or flyover. to play safe i always cucuk faster car so the sniper cant see me

Its AES camera at KM106.1 ..if you are from KL heading to south right after Kajang interchange, the speed limit there is 90kmh and there are AES cameras around the area on your right. If you are from south heading back KL, right after you see a signboard which shows Kajang 2km, slow down as the speed limit is 90kmh. There a speed trap zone signage there and its the same camera at your left side. Im using that road everyday..I think the camera flashed me few times before i realised there are AES cameras. That was few months back but so far never receive any tickets..I have read in the newspaper that it still under testing..Not sure whether its true or not..hmm..

Thanks for the update. Can anyone also confirm whether there are any of those pesky AES camera along the E6 Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan Hubungan Tengah and the KLIA Extension Highway, both of which we have to pass though to go to KLIA airport? I tried using one of the AES apps on the iPhone when on those roads but no AES was shown.
