Am I correct to say that SMG = SSG in the operation principal - basically an electro-hydraulic controlled left foot?

Falling asleep bro? Too much information for you huh I'll try to make it simple for you :top: They're all the same regardless therefore SSG is SMG

im still sharing my pain, lol.
new clutch set. I finally solve my juddering after 1 year. Is really because of clutch. >.

hi beemer,

actually it has been my other half's daily workhorse
car gets the beating on sat n sundays

car has been great so far.
changed quite a bit of wear and tear. will post details later.
just hit 70,000 km's yday, exactly 1 year this month, done 9500km's.

only pending, still cannot access the GB ECU for teaching and so on.
ah ming recons - leave it for now as gear works fine. else its 4K to replace from AB(wt warranty).

during a recent head and oil sump gasket change, realize there was a leak(green colour oil), small reservoir on gb itself. will post pic later. not sure what to change.

other than this, engine internals are healthy, clean and performs like a dream.

I have that leak to ... When topping up SMG fluid without de-pressurising the SMG system it can cause leaks on the reservoir cap. Try to clean up on that area and check again the week after and also do check on the actuator whether there is a leak on that part too.

Turnout, the new oem clutch plate is the wrong version. the bearing is too loose.

Change to ori clutch plate and FULL reformat the system.

Problem solved.

i better watchout mine coz i just top up the fluid few weeks ago ..
