hahaahah my final examination just ended.. used to fill my time with books this couple of weeks... so now got nothing to do. Boring,so better to start practicing my calculation skill back, which I have left since after SPM 4 years ago hahahahaha :p Nanti lupa matematik susah.

Wah you're so young. Haha. 21 this year? :p

Anyways, the fuel has been nothing short but fantastic ever since I started using it.

In fact, I am actually going to apply for my Mesra Kad real soon. :top:

Great breakdown and well presented argument. Take this from a former lawyer. But as I said if I were to base my choice of fuel purely on driving pleasure, it would be VPower fuel. Cheers!!!

agree, pleasure comes with a price

hahah yeah 21, that's why I'm a bit 'shy' to join you pros for TTs. AndrewK invited me for the weekly TT at damansara, when I met him at Sepang recently... I'm still in the learning graph.

Though it may give u less mileage per full tank. It gives you the best savings per full tank.

And from the data you have given;

rm2.70(ron 97) x 68litre = RM 183.60 for 515km
rm1.90(ron 95) x 68litre = RM 129.20 for 470km

Difference of price = RM 54.40 more for ron 97/tank
Difference of range = 45km more for ron 97/tank

So, RM 54.40 worth of ron 95, will give me (RM54.40 / RM1.90) 28.63Litre.

So, If I were given RM54.40 or 28.63Litre of ron 95, how far can I travel in the same car as yours?

Thus, using the same fuel consumption reading given for ron 95 which is 6.9km/L;

6.9km/1L = Xkm/28.63L
Xkm = 197.547km.

Thus, it can be clearly seen that RM54.40 worth of ron95 (Petronas 95Xtra)would take me further than 45km would take me for the same price amount of ron 97 (Shell Vpower 97).

Correct me if I'm wrong. Law students are well known for being bad. EXTREMELY bad in simple mathematics.

You have too much free time... :p

Haha. No worries la bro. I'm probably the youngest 7 owner amongst the bunch. Wahaha...

Shh, hope the others won't read this... :vroam:

Anyways, we've all been 21 once, and best of all, we're all petrol heads, and some, diesel heads [Vin Diesel lookalike perhaps :p]...

Btw, what was AndrewK doing at Sepang??? :4:

Well, I commute 5x a week to Shah Alam from Subang Jaya every week. Before primax 95Xtra, half a tank will be just adequate for the 5 days back and forth trip for my 34, before the lights come on. If I'm careful enough with my right feet, I can stretch it to the 6th day.

Post Primax 95Xtra, If I'm careful with my right feet, 7 days of back and forth trip from subang jaya to shah alam, is achievable.

Wow, half tank 5 days, very good la. At the rate I am driving, one week is the best I can eke out from my 3/4s tank.

Last weekend was crazy, finished the full tank in 2 days... Haha. Was admittedly driving like a maniac on LEKAS on my two round trips to Seremban. :vroam:

So far after rm100 worth of fuel not much different to me. Will try another 100bucks worth of 95extra.

Been using BHP 95 and Shell 95, found out that Shell 95 gave me better mileage and will try Petronas 95, will post feedback after 3 tanks.

I thought I was young! Sigh growing older...:43:

Anyways noticed about 10% improvement in economy. Used to do 210 km on 50 bucks, now can stretch to 240 km. Calculated between fuel tank warning lights!
