"Tahniah. Simcard anda memenangi hadiah cek tunai RM,9000 dari AFM. Sila hubungi 006281332296977. Terima kasih."

What the fark... who do they think I am? A brainless dude? Come to think of it, I am brainless when spending on my Beemer...

This scam seems quite popular in Klang valley..they prey on you when you are in the middle of pumping gas..seems to prey on our kaisuness ..remember nothing comes free in this world.unless its STD! :)
So be wary

Not only in the Klang valley..but in Penang as well...Just outside my house Caltex, whille I was checking my tyre pressure, I was approached by a guy giving me free coupons, claiming its from the petrol station. A first look at the card I know its a scam. Anyhow, I took the card and told the guy I am busy right now and will open it later....I place the card on my bonnet and continue with the pressure gauge. He waited and waited until I finished. I asked him what are you doing here and he kept pushing me to open his "lucky" packet. Told him that if this is from the petrol station, I could go in and cash my "lucky" prize...then he changed his company to some electrical company. Straight I told him u are trying to pull a fast one on me. I am calling the cops!

He disappeared with another 2 girls in a van.

I have a video clip showing how some kids steal a laptop in a office in kl city. They just distract the attention of the clerk using the kids poster and the other steal the laptop and electronic stuff. How to post it ?

this has been going on for a very long time. They used to be from house to house.

their target: housewives at low & medium-low cost housings during afternoons when husbands are away. n they use girls that just completed SPM to give da image that "girls wont cheat u".

Guys,

Read the mail below, then read what ACTUALLY happened to me also...

Ok, I also thot this is just another chain-letter-scary-story emails. But, the same bunch of @#$% tried to pull a fast one on me last Saturday (19 Aug).

I was at the Kota D’sara Petronas station last Sat at around 6ish in the evening. As soon as I pulled up at a petrol pump, a young Chinese girl walked over and stool next to the pump (outside my car door), smiling. The girl fits the description in the email above, long hair, abt 5’2” – 5’3”. She started talking to me and asking me various questions. I was already a little suspicious and ignored her as best as I can while continuing to fill my car. A second Chinese girl then appeared (like the email above) and stood on my other side. Shorter girl (abt 5’) and looks younger than the first. By this time, the first girl started to offer me Jusco discount coupons. By then, I’d already know it was a scam and called a petrol attendant over and asked him to call the manager to call the cops. I then told the girls that they are calling the cops. Immediately, she started walking away towards the corner of the building (Maybank’s drive thru ATM) and hung around there.

I got into my car and drove round the building towards the back. When I passed the drive thru, I saw the black unser (as described in the email), the 2 girls and 2 other Chinese male (one was quite tall – prob 5’10”+ while the other one was slightly shorter and fat) hanging around. They looked like street thugs from those HK gangster movies.

As soon as I got home, I called the Kota Damansara Police Station and asked them to send a petrol car over to check. Not sure if the cops actually went, coz when I drove out for dinner at around 7, the Unser was still there and the guys were still standing around.

Anyway, just becareful out there when you pump petrol. Also, I didn't have a camera with me, so couldn't take any photos.

waa..
just to maybank senawang..
ada lagi diorang..

the girl said,
"bang, bang..
sekejap aje..
bla, bla, bla.."

then i said,
"no, no, no..
nak cepat ni.."

after a couple minutes of conversation,
the girl seems angry..
then she said,
"kalu tak nak, takpee.."
macam marah aje..
he he.. :D

it was featured in edisi siasat (chinese edition) before. According to the owner who ran the operation, this is just their way of marketing their products, by hiring these young kids they save tons of money on advertising, rental and promotion. on the unethcial side of the picture they claim that it was the customers whom are gullible enough to agree to the terms of the sale/redemption.....they did not force them to buy. I guess the term conman never was in their vocabulary.

Latest victim.

23/08/2006 5.01pm

As I walking to my car in the opposite parking of PKNS Shah Alam. I saw this 40++
years old malay lady with tudung with 2 children kena the scam. 3 guys (around 20 years old, all chinese with one of the wear specs had approach her. With their hands are 'gores' ticket. and some newspaper. The newspaper should be the advertisment sample. When I near them .. the deal had been done. They just say 'terima kasih ah kakak'. Then I left (hurry because the sky so dark). I dunno how much she lost or maybe she waiting go to office or something.

Now is heavy rain. I feel bad and sorry now. I should went back and blow the things up. But at the first place I'm not too sure is the 'gores' scam. Hopefully I guess wrong.
