Just use one tankful of Petronas 95 xtra ... Much better than previous Petronas offering. I need to fill couple more full tank of Petronas 95xtra to be really sure whether it's better than esso95 in terms of power and smoothness based on my butt dyno lol ...

Everything butt dyno... :p

Hahahaha ... true except for the mileage comparison which is based on the OBD or trip meter hence it's more objective :p

Usually pump at Petronas NKVE since i drive regularly from subang to d'sara ... Another one is at TTDI ... The one next to bomba station has been there for ages i always go for the newer petrol station ...

Oh yea, now that you mention it, the pumps at that station does seem old. Even the credit card machine seems outdated.

Ok la, will keep an eye out for other Petronas stations. Previously the two fill-ups I did it at DJ near Atria. :)

Yup ... There's another at USJ 3 it's nearby to ss19 so i use that one too. Having said that i do miss using RON97 huhuhuhu specifically Caltex :(

USJ ah... Phobia about the congestion la. Sometimes jam, sometimes not. :p

Hehe, stopped using 97 for quite some time already after noticing that it's all in the mind, and of course, RM 2.70 is damn expensive!

Just got my Kad Mesra. As a regular Shell user, tried to insert my new Kad Mesra, rejected, then my credit card into the pump card slot, rejected again. I guess the pumps don't like my cards

Proceed to the cashier, "Penuh", glug glug glug.... RM131.

I've been Ron 95 BHP users for quite some times redy since they changed the RON regulation. So far BHP is the best Ron 95 petrol for me. Been getting round 23 to 25 cents per km for 90% city drive and 18 cents for 100% highway drive.
Since the good review on new Petronas Ron 95, maybe interested to try out due to easy availibility. Anyone avid BHP Ron 95 users converting to new Petronas Ron 95?

I used BHP previously..noticed slightly better performance n mileage after using 95xtra....give it a try bro

Yes, I was a BHP RON 95 user and you will not be disappointed with the new Primax 95 Xtra. After 2 tanks, you will feel the engine runs smoother and better the acceleration. Marginal fuel consumption improvement.

I only tried one full tank the new Primax 95 Xtra and did not feel any differences in terms of engine smoothness/better acceleration and fuel consumption. Now switched back to BHP RON 95. Perhaps one full tank not enough for the test and should try another full tank?

Anyone who has been using primax ron95xtra for 3000cc and above udm? I tried bhp, shell and caltex 95 a few times but found my 530i to be sluggish. Shell vpower97 not only gave me better performance but also better fuel consumption. Need to put fuel for my car soon. So will try out Petronas' new fuel.

Surin,

From a few of our members' experiences. Fill full tank RON 95 and add 1 can of Octane booster (STP, TOTAL or other brands). Fantastic acceleration.

I suggest you give esso95 a try ... It works for me brilliantly. Currently using petronas 95xtra so far ok need another tankful to be sure.
