I have a situation here......prior to buying the old skool E60 530D...!! I paid the booking & waiting for loan to approve..!! after 2 days a Dato fren call me saying that another Dato is selling his E60 520D year 2009 $180K (which i m highly interested bcoz it only 2 years car)....that make me think twice....:stupid::stupid::stupid:
That night didnt sleep well...!! at 1st thinking on forget about my $4k deposit for the 530D & instead go for E60 520D........!!

Tomorrow after the used car dealer call me that the bank approve the loan .......haiz..!!:77::77:

But now although the 530D seem like got some squeeky sound...!! i m very happy with this OIL BURNER......!! :top::top:

welcome to the club of oil burner, 530D is a good car based on my experience with my 520D, but if not mistaken 530D have an issue with its "butterfly flap" which you need to take out as it may damage the 530D engine and piston, go google it its was a widely known issue but easy to fix. one of the reason of getting diesel engine is diesel engine are built more tough than petrol engine as the high pressure of combustion.

just browsing and bump into your post. so when is you 520d coming up? it is true, if Actyon can cruise at 110kph @ 2000RPM will be great. it has enough torque to do so. then FC will be lesser. at this point it is about 8liter/100kph if steadily at 110kph.

Already enjoying my 520d almost 2 months and 10k km. The FC is around 6.8 l/100km. Actyon2 is averaging 9.8 l/100km.

Thanks Bro! Really a nightmare when google search & read through Bimmer thread..!! Will do necessary to prevent any burn motor incident...!!

so good FC!!!! unbelievable. so u will leave your Acyton at home ...right!
