Got it near 2months ago, it's brilliant car. comfort, quiet and responsive.
Actually the hybrid system doesn't save much fuel. for 100% city driving, it's slightly better consumption than mazda6 2.5 and alot better than S4, ofcoz. for me, most important of hybrid system is provide alot more driving pleasure with 450nm 240hp. it should come with quattro to avoid wheel spin.
agree that it need some time to get use to the regenerate braking system. and there's slightly imperfect when drive in D mode which will cause jerking . mostly i use S mode , so the engine will never shut off when driving, only when stop completely.

Stock 245hp 328i boost pressure is ~18psi vs. ~11psi for the 211hp VAG TFSI engine. Wonder what is the max boost each engine can take without internal mods and what kind of power they will be making.

The most amazing 2.0 ltr turbo engine goes to the Merc CLA AMG45 paired with Merc's twin clutch. 355hp stock from a 2.0 turbo engine! Changes the perception that Mercs are for Ah Peks haha :)

Jeremy Clarkson says in the News section of top gear that the new Evo will be producing 400++ horsepower in their latest car with a 2.0 engine. Or was it an impreza? Cant remember which.

Also just test driven the A6 hybrid owned by my uncle last week, the car was only two weeks old. A hell lot of car for that kind of money I would say. Shame I only driven it for a short while at slow speed.

My uncle claims that he tested the car at 280kmh the other day, but he sometimes talk a lot of crap also. 280kmh on a 2 week old car? Hmmmm.....

Are you sure he didn't say it took 2 weeks for the car to get to 280 km/h? If a stock A6h can hit 280 km/h, I think they'd be quite a fair number of people that would start selling of their M's and also RS's since this would be so much cheaper to run. For comparisons sake, info provided by a very trusted source:

Stage 3 MKV GTI, 330 bhp = 285 km/h vmax on NSE
Stage 2+ RS4 B7, 450 bhp = 305 km/h vmax on NSE
Stage 0 R8 4.2, 420 bhp = 300 km/h vmax NSE

Saw a black A6H on Federal hway on the way back from work. It was kinda striking from a distance because it didn't look like an A4 or A5, though from far you can't really tell. Tailed it for a bit before overtaking to see the front, I must say that in the looks department the F10 would still win (my preference anyway). I don't know if it is just me but somehow Audi always manage to make the A6 look very understated. I wonder does the A6 sell as well than the 5er or the E-class in Europe.

I guess everywhere else, the 5er is the class leading act. It's just that the unfair price advantage of the A6h here makes it such a compelling value proposition. The real test comes when if speculated, the hybrid rebate for imported models below 2000cc is reduced to only 50% from 2014 thus pushing the A6h to $350k category, can it still score the numbers from the 520i or 520d?

It depends on the kits count then, at least to many prospect buyers because 80 out of 100 ppl do not unleash the full UDM during the full spectrum of the ownership.

Say if all of the following cars are price at 340k level, I think the look or kits count may sway the buyers.

Merc E200k FL / GS 250 / 520i or d / A6 hybrid

The Merc FL is a very sexy beast and a big departure from the current model's Korean inspired design. Saw one on the road yesterday, looks delicious.

Guys, for those who are currently driving the a6h, just wondering how bad is the boot ? Can squeeze in stroller plus some luggages at the same time ?

Actually...SEA is probably the only segment that sees a disparity in the 3 brands market share significantly. In Europe and UK, based on eyeballing, the ratio between MB. BMW and Audi is pretty much equal.

Tried fitting a stroller when I checked out the car. Maclaren can but at odd angle, wheel in first. I reckon if you have the ones that folds short, it would be better, if one of those giant Bugaboo/Stokke's then cannot.

Thanks man... Decided to buy a recon f10 instead.... Anyone can recommend good workshop to service f10 ? Thanks

For those still interested, I was informed by my SA that they are compiling a final list of interested buyers for the A6h and calling everyone on the wait list if they are still keen. Details they need include name, ic and color choice. They will close the expression of interest and submit the list to Germany by early next week to get a final commitment from Audi AG.

Contact the Audi SA if interested. Price is the same 288k including convenience access and reverse camera options

Has anyone here test driven the A6 3.0T with Sline and Quattro ? Many review website claim that its one hell of a machine. TFL claims that its even better than a 535i with MSport.
I also saw a drag race in which the Audi A6 beats the 535. Was always looking at a 535i but A6 3.0T seems to have caught my attention.

Audis are sweet looking cars too ... very sweet. Which has a more comfortable boot? LOL

So has anyone really driven the Audi A6 3.0T ? Some folks actually told me that the more important criteria is the quattro for handling rather than the S-Line package. Anyone has a different say to this ?

If you are the average driver, it will make no difference whether Quattro or not. Most just want to get from A to B in a comfy car that looks good with a sign of status.

If you are not the average, I am sure it will be fun fun fun when you have the Quattro system.
