Aiyoo... u have roller blind, USB, Climate Comfort windshield, iDrive.. bla.. bla.. bla..:top:

Mine is a humble 320i 4 potter..

Sounds like can go chop shop shopping lio.. :D :stupid:

Earlier batches of 325i had folding seats. I think 07 cars sold locally stopped having them, but you get things like chrome/metal laced radio/Air cond knobs and metal linings on the steering. Also early sports steering (05) cars do not have thumbrests on the steering. Oh also Simon's 08 car had 2 isofix latch mounts on the rear speakerboard which mine and JPB's (07) cars do not have.

On the brighter side, I was told cars withouth folding seats have slightly better chasis ridgity due to the addition rear seat support/braces which folding specs ones do not have.

05 CBU Germany, What we didnt get :

1. Auto Folding side mirrors.
2. Folding Rear Seats
3. Automatic front seats
4. Built in Amp in the boot
5. AUto Cruise - Total Bitch!

Im certain ROOKIE can shed more light on the matter of absent comforts....

You'd think these would be included in the list of "basics" for a limo :p

IMHO, the RM6k isn't worth it at all. becaouse i don't like wood trim and i like the type 158 rims. mine is like yours except yours has a nice number. haha.

manual anti glare? meaning like JDM cars gotta flip the switch under the rear view mirror?

2 questions:

1)how to activate the parking lights? (the left / right only)
2)how to activate / use the auto tilting left side (passenger side) when reversing.

Hey Alex,
To answer question 1 :
Once youve killed the engine and removed the key, just switch the indicator on. Left/Right for desired side.

Hope that helps. Cheers

Yup, the german's definition of limo is definitely different from ours :106:

910's list is pretty complete. Like to add that the 320i Munich born rides doesn't come with rain sensor as well

Actually i Believe the i-drive is standard specification. The upgrade to that would be the bussiness package.

Maybe the el-cheepos here want to save a few bucks

E46Fanatic, thanks for the consolation on my '07 E90 CKD 320i not having foldable rear seat. Really, its a driver's car, not a transporter's car! :D so with that, I'm alright! Yes, I have the ISOFIX latches on my rear speaker board and the 4 funny button on the rear back rest, which of no use to me.. why CKD model has this ISOFIX assosories? I rather trade them for a set of rear reading lights on the central roof panel, which I currently don't have. :(

Bimmer910, mine '07 E90 CKD 320i don't have electric folding side mirror too, no folding rear seat, no amp in the boot (do they have this?), no auto cruise too. Except partial electric front seat (up/down, lean only), forward/backward and tilt is manual.. :D :stupid:

iDrive as std accessories? I had a friend who bought a new E60 some time ago and the iDrive do not have Bluetooth interface, so he get a local a accessories shop to add for him and the accessories shop fella acidentally fried the iDrive system. He went back to AB for warranty claim which AB denied for obvious reason. The owner end up forking out RM30k for an iDrive replacement... and u think it should be standard accessories.. I don't think so.. and I am not complaining... I just complain the rear reading lights.. :D

Rookie, I ada rain sensor.. :D but hate to use it as too sensitive, I prefer intemittent wipe setting which is absent in E90 that has rain sensor.. :(

JV88, saw ur car today at AB SB, cool black kidney grill and the 19" Breyton was a killer.. although u run diffrent tyres for front and back.. :D

Love ur CF shark fin and roof spoiler. Noticed your ride don't have iDrive too.. LCD screen? I didn't notice.. ur tinting very dark ler... can hardly see inside... saw ur BMW Club sticker on the windscreen though and yes! the CF hood emblem is sweet.

HOWEVER!! I do notice there's a foreign metal-liked object stuck on your LHS rear tyre.. hope it didn't puncture the tyre.. :( I wanted to alert the service people but everyone was out for lunch and before I notice it, you car has checked out!

I was there since 10am till 2pm for an alignment job to fix my 2 days old car's alignment and wobbly steering problem. Now my car is so much nicer to drive, steering no more stiff, no more vibrate, no more pulling left, no more wobbly even the ride is softer. Now I am on 23psi.. I think when I took delivery of the car, it felt like 32psi compare to now. No wonder when I cross humps, it felt like the whole front wheel assembly shattered like gonna drop off !!... probably some inexperience fella thought I'm on non-RFT tyres and simply inflate my RFT.. :stupid:

I was referring to CBU E90 320i's which I believe only Bimmer910 and myself have. The born in M'sia E90 320i's are definitely better equipped, so it's not that bad ;)

23 psi is way to low bro. You'd see accelerated wearing on the edges of the tyre where the stiff sidewalls are holding up the weight of the car. Tyres will be likely destroyed within 10k kms :p

Yes, 23psi is way too low! You should at least pump it at 30psi. The best is still 32psi to 35psi.

Our driver side door frame has a label indicating the recommended RFT tyre pressure under different usage and it really say 23psi. Why is it wrong?

No worries, will monitor my tyre wear.. :D at least got something to check... engine oil also no need to check lio... very boring.. :D

By the way, how to monitor water temperature wor? I hv the habit to monitor water temperature and I will always go easy on the pedals until the temperature guage pointing to normal operating temperature in my other cars. But in E90, nothing to see ler ??? So I can whack the accelerator kow kow immediately the car is started in the morning? :stupid: doesn't make sense lar !?

Astroboy, u saw my car? Didn't noticed u though when I came to collect in the afternoon....don't know which one r u anyway...went for service as my car already clocked 30k km...really something stuck in my rear tyre? will check it after this....thanks for mentioning, will buy u teh tarik nx time

Oh yes! Its impossible to miss ur car lar! :D

Hope ur LHS rear tyre is okay..

Hi astroboy, have to agree with the rest that 23psi may be too low and will cause your tyres to wear out much faster. I use 32psi on my fronts and 34 psi on the rears even though I don't have a staggered setup and using the lousy 16 inch 154 wheels.

The E90 doesn't come with a water temp gauge. It uses warning lights (Yellow and Red) to warn you when your car starts overheating. You can get more details in your manual.
