Mind asking? Why the headlights plastered? :dunno:
So that, in the event of the headlamps breaking (due to an accident, or a stone chip, for example), glass will not be strewn across the track. Cos you do have to pay for the cleanup of the track if your leave debris all over it, you know.

Some of the photos I have taken earlier in the morning.

Driving instructor's briefing.

pssst... TL5500 is in the photo...

Lotus 340R..

BTW, who said got no chic? That's the past winner of the Miss M'sia Chinese Int'l Pageant 2004, Miss Jolene Chin (in red).. :p Then again my favourite is Vivien Yeo, the winner from the 2003 pageant.. hahaha... Oh btw, she speaks fluent English and not Petaling Street ingelis...

Didn't take any photos during the track session... Too busy jumping from car to car to coach the newbies..

I sat in a Mini Cooper S auto, E46 325i (non-foummer), RX7 Efini, Magicfox's E34 520i and NikAzwaa's E30 320i.

The E46 is a hard nut to crack, too rough with the car at the corners, kinda difficult to drill in the instruction.

The RX7 efini had good power but driver still 'green' and playing a little too much throttle at the corners and sweepers. According to him, he's from Penang and it's his first time driving in Sepang even though he's been there numerous times in the drag event. He has another engine for drag...

After coaching the RX7, I took my car out for a few laps with him in the passenger seat to show him how 'slow' is the E30 318is. Showed him that the key is to be smooth at the corners - no sudden lift-off, little steering play. And showed him that without LSD, the rear inner wheel will lift and wheelspin and car not going any faster if I'm not driving it clean.
And at one point at the last hairpin corner, I lost the brake momentarily and the car was heading into the corner a little to fast and the tail went wagging. immediately countered it and it drifted for a brief moment before straightening itself and went along its business.. haha.. Didn't mean to be a showoff but he was quite impressed.. I guess he didn't know my heartbeat was 10% faster after that.... :D

Anyway, after the track session was over and done with. Everyone was treated to the buffet lunch in the air-conned room upstairs.

Mokhzani giving his speech.

Sleep and smoke... hmmmm.. Why is he tired in the first place? Tak masuk track pun?

One of the highlights after lunch.. This 12 year old Alissa gave a stellar rendition of Whitney Houston's Greatest Love of All..

Impressive.. I had goose bump. Those that I'll get when someone sings it right... ;)

After her performance, the emcee read her long line of appearances on stage in musicals and plays.. No wonder lah....

Goner brake pads....

Good thing is that the wear is very even on all 4 pads, left and right.
