c-square. the right side fuel pump is about that price. The left side fuel pump is much cheaper.
Note that there are two fuel pumps on the E36. One on the left (passenger side), one on the right (driver side). I paid RM630 for the right side fuel pump last year which I could have gotten around RM500 if not for a konked fuel pump on Merdeka Day.

My recent maintenance cost..
defects: engine difficult to start with and starter noisy/rough sound..

1. replace fuel pump for rm550
2. replace starter motor for rm585 (ol one repaired so many times)
3. replace brake lite switch for rm68
4. labour for rm 160

Before that, my ride was grounded for the whole week of CNY.. the engine started beautifully but could not maintained idle rpm.. after that found out the ICV has failed.. replace ICV with used one for rm400 (inclusive of diagnostic cost )..

Now things work perfectly..

Donald,

looks like u got a good low mileage machine there. treat it right and it will reward u immensely... neglect it, and it will bite u when u least expect it...

However, don't be unduly concerned... once you get ur 328 up to par, it actually costs very little to maintain it. I've gone for a few months without needing to do anything abt the car, and i actually started missing going to the workshop...

Just to share with you my experience, my 328 really came ALIVE after i fitted the lowered springs and performance shock absorbers, together with the front and back anti roll bars.... it totally removed the body roll during tight corners, enabling me to push it harder and harder... but watch out for that unpredictable tail! (understeer followed by snap oversteer)... Conti Sports Contact II also helped tremendously... delicious grip which squeals sexily when you challenge it by steadily increasing the turning angle.

By procuring this machine, you are embarking on a relationship with a seductive, demanding ($$$), but ultimately very SATISFYING sexy beast.... but that sexy butt likes to wiggle... careful... suggest u try it out at our Sepang track day this Apr 16...

Flash, u've got a very well maintained baby already... but since u've got such a high standard, gotta spend some dough to fulfill it... but it's worth it... after all, you get a couple of extra cubic capacity FREE by the previous owner (wink)...

Thanks bro lee... but last week my babe decided to be a little horny again. The horn kept blaring on and on... thank got I did not become a road rage victim... :D

Anyway, my mechanic had taken my steering wheel and horn assembly apart and serviced the whole bloody thing. Now no problem... FOC. :eek:k:

Watch this space... rims on the agenda. I have got to control the happy tail. Getting a bit hairy in the wet. :beaten:

Hi all, this is my first post here. Just wondering if anyone can direct me to the best outlet to get new centrebox's for my E36. Seems that it's busted and making some noises but most people have directly me back to Auto Bavaria to get it. Have tried Jaafar in Sunway but they don't have any stock. Can someone help me out by telling me whereelse I can get it and how much should it cost? I know I will need 2 of it.

Also, can I check with anyone where to also get the original bulbs for my taillights? I've recently changed the bulbs but since I'm not using the originals I constantly get the taillight failure message. Any advice here on what bulbs should I use and how much do they cost.

Thanks for any help. Appreciate all the info I can get.

Dear All,

The damages to my bill were as follows:

1. ATF Flush and Fluid Change = RM209
2. Engine Oil (5 litres) = RM150
3. Oil Filter = RM35
4. Spark Plugs = RM65
5. Battery = RM230
6. Power Steering Rack =RM1,350
7. Power Steering Fluid = RM35
8. Labour = RM70

Total Damage = RM2,144

I am quite new to all these, and need advise from you experts. After I have replaced the power steering rack, does the steering suppose to be tight at the current moment? It's very tight (need to manoeuvre with 2 hands) when exiting from parking lot. Please advise..... Thanks in advance..
