can i know where to get ATE brake pads and how much for the front side ?
RM125 from 1st Division for ATE/Jurid, but that was about 4/5 months ago [/b]
It's still about the same price. Jurid bites better than ATE, but heaps more dust. I think these 2 are the only OEM pads available here.

crymson, if including the "used" valvebody, yes. The most important parts in gearbox overhaul is the valvebody and the clutch kit. Other wear and tear parts that can hike up the price is the valves.

ha ha i got jurid today from BA

jurid front cost rm110
sensor rm25
labour rm25
total rm160

ok ah the price.

for e36 328,

pls tell what they did as mine have the jumping fuel gauge. read the thread on the wiring around the two senders, checked ok. may try to open the senders/pump this weekend, waiting for tank to deplete a bit to less than 1/4 full before i will try.

told that new senders and pump are expensive, any repair/ cleaning possible?

kayu ara "optimum".

any advise appreciated.

tks

sorry i dont really understand what you saying .
... what they did was open the back seat and the you will see the fuel pump then he told me just solder it back onli then done

timing belt ~ 70
adjusting pulley / bearing / bearing --- sometimes no need to change one.
oil filter ~ 25
the belts ~ slightly below 30

the rest ... never did before .

where did you perform this at ?? if ya don't mind sharing :D

Decided to overhaul the auto gearbox as was experiencing some 'slipping' of gears during acceleration. Breakdown of cost

F/L Strainer RM48
Spacer Ring RM102
Clutch Set RM822
Return pipe? RM322
p Pressure ring? RM63
Oil Seal RM68
Clutch Cover RM350
Clip RM85
Transmission Fluid RM250
Clutch plates RM175 (@RM35 each)
Pressure plate RM150
Workmanship to overhaul gearbox RM1300

Total RM3,735

But feels waaaaay better than before the overhaul. Fuel Consumption also much better.

but the damn mechanic lost a set of my car keys and alarm control at the workshop.

I know who to find if my car goes missing one of these days :aggressive:

sure np crymson

it's a workshop in USJ.

Always sent my car there for servicing, so just decided to let them do the overhaul.

I suppose it depends on what needs changing during overhaul.

The slipping wasn't noticeable but just thought might as well before get headaches later
