Small upgrading, big improvement...E34 v8 brakes...:wink:

Anakin - If one upgrades the front breaks and sticks to the old rear ones, won't it cause the car breaking to be "unbalanced". I read somewhere that they need to be upgraded together. Also will it make a tangible difference if I install these on an 520i?

The e34 V8 rotor has the same diameter, the thickness which makes the difference

Crack shaft sensor (local, lasted for 3 months) ----- RM270
Crank shaft sensor (Original bmw (siemens) ) ----- RM380
Crank shaft sensor installation + error code reset-- RM100 (20 minutes job!)

I changed my m20 starter last feb and cranking smooth until now.. Used one rm350

My starter motor got screwed because of the bad crank sensor (above), I suspect. I went to a famous "bmw specialist" in segambut (shop name starts with z ). He told me it was my fly wheel that needed changing. I told him it must be the starter. The next day he called and said it is the stater motor. He then charged me 400 for a second hand starter motor (readily available for less than 250) then 450 for labor. I asked why so much for labor? He said he had to adjust my flywheel. I appealed to his sense of justice, but he insisted. And some still claim that most mechanics are not crooks! hahaha

Feel sorry for you bro...everyone have their own 'story' about the mech...myself got screwed until I felt like....this ist it, no more bmw for me...oso by one of the most reputable w/shop in town!

Huge gap between fender and bumper, no matter how I adjust it...as far as I read, the "round" thing is to adjust edge of the bumper to align with the fender, not to close the gap...am I misunderstood something?..Any idea?:stupid:

dah crack bro.. Theva tak nak repair. dia nak suruh beli baru, tapi fiber lah. memang mahal gila bumper sekarang.
