Guys, Pussy and me may have to pull out. We have to be on site to kick some contractors. :( boo hoo

Anyway, if you are still tuning your setup, do this for a more spirited drive

1) Front camber negative
2) Rear camber neutral or positive
3) 40PSI front 35 PSI rear
4) Front antiroll bar to soft setting and rear to stiff setting
5) If you have adjustable shocks, set the rear stiffer than the front.

Guarantee lots of action....
WJ,

Items 4 & 5 will make you a drift king rite??? :D

Sorry to hear ur pullout...nevermind we do our own private one next day!!

Cheers!

Aiyah.......just saw Mssr Bundy confirmation on my query......

Cheers!

Not too sure if that is the fastest way around the track. A little camber at the rear is a must for me, otherwise its a little nerve wrecking to drive! :nyehehe: :nyehehe:

Anyway, Flower of Carnage is in the convoy to Sepang now...OOooooOOOoo   :nyehehe: :nyehehe:

I had a lot of fun on and off track, hehe!. Initially, didn't want to go on track but the dark side of the force was too strong and it was very fun to even watch the 3 E46 M3s, AJ's E30 M3, Eeric's MCS and the 325sc-smg and 325 smg do their thangs. There are a lot of good accomplished drivers from our camp and I appreciate walrus_lord and sideways giving me some free coaching. Oh! BTW, I'm also glad that quite a few girls joined us - Flower of Carnage, Vivian, Senity and others. The gals will be well-featured by 'Driven' magazine photography team. The scenery from other car clubs was also very nice, hehe!

So, back to one of the most important matter after the event, WE WANT PHOTOS!!! :D

just got back from the track and i must say tht i did hav loadsa fun eventhough i didnt drive my precious udm due to a problematic propshaft... :getyourfactsright: :dunno:  .....so ended up going in my mates wira 1.3 and just to b the odd one out i parked amongst the great udms in the paddock area

had the pleasure to finally meet flower of carnage(though i didnt knw tht it was her till after i left

Definitely good fun with no untoward incidents. No super-gung-ho drivers on track. I hope the pre track day briefing help to prevent anyone letting their ego controlling the right foot...

I have fun on track, and I hope most of u did. It's a very good outing for all attended. So who did I miss bringing for the taxi ride...

Jeff, where's the in-car video of me going sideway (unintentionally)

forgot to say tht marco's racecraft cf filter was sweet looking!cant wait to get it!hehehe....then i can use it for the next track day! :nyehehe:
fabs...y u didnt say u were offering a taxi ride?i wanted to drive but had no car,so had to be contented with just mingling around and spectating.
i was damn gian to drive and really wished my ride was healthy!
yeah we were a very well behaved bunch.unlike the subaru club...

overall it was awesome!!this is my 3rd time on the track n it gets better n better!!thanx for all the sifus here for teaching me how to setup n drive on the track!!

what i found out today was a stiffer anti roll bar is a must to prevent body roll for e46 after i had ride on 3 different e46 with different set up.

red flag was waved from time to time cos a few fiat coupe spun off the track..n i think i saw a lotus spun off at the last corner.

eeric MCS was simply awesome...n alvin's m3 too....too bad necc has problem with his brake if not i am pretty sure he will go all out for it..CY was joking that he brakes too much on the track!!haha!! :nyehehe: :nyehehe:

i hope everyone have fun today n i am looking forward for the next track day!!

p.s. for those who miss out..there was a lambo gallardo racing with us on the track!!

surelah u had a lot of fun giving taxi ride to all the women when i had to be contented with a slipping clutch and a power steering belt which i think i left somewhere in turn 13.
All in all managed 5 laps which works out to be 30 bucks a lap:cry:

those spinning coupes wasn't mine ....

:p

But had a great time there. Nice to see good driving there today.

Felix and me missed Sepang today due to work commitments. However, I am heading there tomorrow at 2pm with my pal's E46 M3 and my GTV2000. Have room for a passenger. Anyone keen?

You took all the girls out but ME!! (not that I consider myself part of the gals!!!...) but one of them mentioned after several other taxi rides including my car that yours was the best, hehe! Champion lah you!

it was my fist track-day. it was really fun and not as bad as i thought, i mean it was safe cos every udm owner drive like gentlemen- no cucuk cucuk that make u uneasy. thanks to the organizer. btw to ben, thanks for being my driving mate. looking forward for the next track day!!!!!!!!

Just got car back, reason for slipping clutch, apparently oil from my gearbox found its way in there, power steering belt cumming off bcos after changing yesterday my wonderful mechs apperentice never tighten properly..&*%$#. after almost a month of anticipation and it ends this way...
