BMW got track prepared street legal car which is the M3 GTS...and the last i check a used one costs 900k...worth it?

....errr so were the stock Renaults they were also stock cars out from the show room and not from any tuners..

..well..again, im not going down to economy, prices and so on..to be frank, RS does look very very attractive with its price tag/given performance ratio..so, I am really not talking about any of these..im simply putting things at the place where measurement took place..racing track..and all Im saying is that comparison/competition that day, doesn't reflect reality and its completely wrong, because not a one single track ready Motorsport (doesn't require M3 GTS )was there, with removed seats, removed spare tyre, installed very good track tyres and eventually modded ECU, as it was indeed , done on few RS over there..

....so we compare their stock and our stock, OK..our stock F30 and the stock Renault RS ...Stock Renault RS on Taiwanese Semi Slicks (Federal 595 RSR) - Lap time 2'44 , Stock F30 on Pirelli P Zeros - Lap Time 2'51....
and mind you, the F30 driver in my opinion is a very fast driver....oklah to be fair, base on the official spec the RS has 5bhp more than a F30...but believe it or not the F30 is 47Kg lighter than the Renault RS..
hmmm...but on another site the F30 is 183kg heavier...

Maybe, becos its categorised as a sports sedan...No? so now u want to compare a E92 M3 - 4.4L V8 against 2L 4inline DOHC Turbo and that is fair, since thats the only sports edition you can get from the showroom??? or the yet to be release F80 M3??

Nice to see some of the BMW boys on track that day. Even nicer to chat with a few of you Great to see the inter-club outing and hopefully more in the future. Btw I drove the matte-silver RS250.

How come you don't have timing? Too fast aledi ah? the transponder can not detect u going warp speed?

the matte silver is painted or sticker?

Went around Sepang faster than the transponder signal could register hahahaha Clocked a 2:46 that day

Excellent idea! I'd happily pass over my keys for a few laps in an M5 or M3. Any takers?

I do a 2:42 on street tires with my RS250, but keen to see how I fare in an M car.

Kenny Lee hit 200+ km/h with me in the passenger seat. He was driving the RS taxi which did more than 4 laps shown on the time sheet.

Firstly, thk u 2 d CMs n Renault TC 4 yesterdays enjoyable track day. I m happy that i was able to track below 3 minutes, which was my target. Just to provide some facts 4 those interested, my 335 has approx 350 whp. The car was brilliant n never threw a check light. Oil temp was around 130 degrees C. D car could touch 210 kph b4 turn 1, n i was braking b4 d 200 meter mark becoz brakes werent sufficient 4 d car.. D 235/30/19 falkens 452s on d rears were crap n offered very little traction at d turns. My adjustable bilsteins were also not adjusted 4 track use. Mods to have by d next track day 4 me 1) semi slicks on 18s front n rear. 2) BBK for my fronts. 3) Max d settings on my adjustables. 4) Bigger engine oil cooler kit. My target 4 d next track day. 2.50. Very conservative target, but what to do, novice driver.

Huh! 200kmh in my car, I would need the back straight extended to KLIA before tht can be achieved....kakakakka...look at how you all went pass me as though I was standing still...
