track day

Hey guys thought of organizing a track day event for club members. 9am to 1 pm sometime soon we can all have a fun day at the track. I have done this for Porsche Club Malaysia with a friend who owns a porsche. How about doing one for UDM owners. Please give your opinions we can have our own competition with different categories maybe invite some UDM mechanics and workshop owners to come along and maybe sponsor. What do you guys think. The fee is something like RM 150 - RM 200 to use the track. Think about it B)

Hmmm.... didn't the guys just have one same day as AGM?? Anyway, gotta check with Sepang, if I'm not mistaken, they may have closed the track for Open Track Days and other bookings till end of year...

bimmer73.. yes we do Track Days.. The latest one being roughly around 3 weeks ago. You can checkthe previous Track Days by clicking here.

As PiedPiper mentioned, there would only be available slots starting next year. Rest assured, we will organise one as soon as a slot's available.

Good to know that you're interested in events such as these. We just hope there'll be a better response should another track day happen in the future.

If we are planning to do a closed session, then the cost will be enormous. It will be fun, but unless we get the numbers, I think some of us here will just join the open track days.

Anyone has any idea how much the track rental is for a 2 hour slot? And so far, from the numerous tracks days we have organised or took part in, there were less than 10 cars (that actually went on the track) from this club.
