In fact when i drive up KL for a week, i am running v-power la....

You need me to enquire if RON95/97 any issues.... let me call them and i will post update.

E60 525i not included? What is velocity?

VELOCITY brings forward the sheer excitement of driving, by vastly improving and optimizing the throttle response, enabling up to 30% of improved throttle response. Installation of VELOCITY is simply by ‘plug-and-play’ to the throttle pedal connector on the car, without any modifications at all.

Upon installation, the unit is powered up simply by the touch of the ‘on/off’ button, and users can select from 4 different modes, and vary the throttle response simply by selecting the ‘+’ or ‘-‘ button.

Operating the VELOCITY is made simple and easy, as every control button is clearly and easily accessible on the control panel, and the different mode that has been selected is also clearly indicated by an orange LED.

VELOCITY utilizes proprietary, intelligent and self-learning feedback algorithm that monitors the car’s sensors and optimizing the injection mapping of the Electronic Control Unit (ECU).

The unit then automatically calculates the fuel injection amount and timings required, according to the various power modes and then altering the car’s response tremendously according to the desired selection, by varying the opening angle of the throttle body.

Another unique feature (1st of its kind for plug-and-play) of VELOCITY is that it allows users an option to select between “Original Profile” or “Sports Profile”, simply by the touch of a button on the control panel, WITHOUT the need to use a 12V DC Power Supply! The unit has a built-in function that allows users to switch off the sports profile if they want to drive the car in normal factory mode, or switch on the unit if they desire to have the increased throttle response. The unit will return to the last preset setting upon powering on, as it has an internal built-in memory, hence making it very convenient for drivers to use.

Technical Specs

·4 power profiles selection (min, medium 1, medium 2, maximum), adjustable by the touch of a button on the control panel to suit different driving needs
·Unique “On/Off” button that allows users to switch off the unit if they want to drive the car in stock mode
·Built-in memory function that retains last preset setting upon powering on
·Optimized throttle characteristics to enable throttle response to the engine in real-time, resulting in instantaneous and smoother throttle response.
·Simple “plug-and-play” using OEM Connectors, with no modifications required
·Slim and Compact design, with high quality finishing
·Intelligent, self-learning feedback algorithm to enable optimized driving throughout the power bend

NO BHP gain...just better driving feel. Just like any other throttle control.

E60 525i not included?

Opps... i missed out.

I'm driving E60 525 and on PB... i can feel the difference with bhp at 200bhp(about)

PB is vey effective for 523... i heard it could bring bhp to 214bhp....(not sure, but i heard)

Booooo  that's unfair! How can 523 has improved so much but not 525??? Sob sob... but then too good to be true lah...

in your case, I think your ride M54 engine (192 bhp) right?? Coz N52 is already 218bhp...

Bro,
Let me answer your question (and hopefully I answer it correctly).
Power Box and Juice Box are similar products... but juicebox is used for BMW with N54 engines.. as in those 335, 535, Z4, X6 with 3.0 litre twin scroll turbo engines :top: so it's not suitable for our E60 with M54 or N52. I certainly hope that the Juice Box can be installed for my E60, as it adds a whopping 80bhp and 8o extra torque to the wheels of the stock car

For N52 engine like us, the best will be Power Box. With the PowerBox, it has 7 different types of mapping to control the throttle response with the option to of Performance On :top: in laymen term, improved throttle response is what we need to have better acceleration (just like Sprint Booster)... don't forget that Sprint Booster only improves the throttle response but not extra bhp :)thefinger: but I thought that extra bhp is what we really want??? :D) that's why apart from the cheaper price of Sprint Booster, it offers basically nothing but improved acceleration. I would rather pay extra for the PowerBox for both throttle and horepower improvement :top: So question to ask yourself is, why in the hell do you need Sprint Booster anymore if you have the PowerBox???

I don't know about JuiceBox but for PowerBox bro wolf73 has said that it cost SGD1150 (forumer's price) to buy and install. Walk-in customer will have to be ready to pay SGD1500!! And if you are still not convinced that PowerBox is cheaper in Singapore, I suggest that you pay Motorsport Division Sunway a visit and ask on the price of PowerBox coz I know that they have stock for the product :D

Now, have I answered all the questions in your mind? Actually all the answers are already answered in this forum if you read thoroughly but I don't really mind to answer to you specifically bro. After all, we are all BMW lovers... and out there to help each other :top:

Do let us know the price. So it makes sense to get N54 engines if possible as much more potential to mod!!! Thanks for the detailed explanation!!!

PB sound so awesome..hehe will go to motorsport dvision to check the price locally

Do let us know the asking price for the PB ok? Hopefully we don't have to go all the way down south to visit our neighbour just to install the device :D (fingers crossed)

That is.. If you have the $$$ to buy BMW with N54 engines. Only current F10 5-Series has the 535i model :top:
with the twin scroll turbo engine, we already have 306bhp in our car. Imagine extra 80bhp in that monster! I got goosebumps just thinking of it :D

Yea but I don't like the look of f10 so I guess it would have to be the next generation 335? Wondering how does it look like and when will they launch it?

Have u seen the F10 with M-Sport bodykit? Somehow I think it looks nice but of coz, not as garang as our E60 :D
once the M-sport version comes out, it's only a matter of time before Hamann, AC, Hartge, And other tuners actually come out with enhancement for M-sport :top: maybe then you'll like it leh?
By the way, go to F10 thread & you will see the rendering of F10 with M-Sport bodykit by Theophilus Chin
