wow great gotta get it.... btw any improvement while driving?

of course :D you will notice improvement in pickup as well as sudden acceleration from slow speed. if you have quad exhaust with deep tone... it's definitely a perfect combination :top:

will try to get the dry cold air intake i.e. oil free to prevent any malfunction with air mass sensor abot usd300 right?

how much was the freight charges?usd75?

the normal one should do just fine.. but if u r going to get the Dry type.. the colour should be grey! don't get it wrong coz the casing has to be right in order to be fitted.

I have surveyed a few sites.. but turnermotorsport.com offers the best price. The delivery charges will be in the region of USD70-200... I opted for the cheapest one. But remember this... REMEMBER to tell them to declare lower value on the price.. as the delivery charges are fixed! I kena bayar more than RM500 for the duty and tax alone... sigh!

yeah :top: you will have to email them... correspond with them in order for a while.. and then ask them to send you invoice through paypal (the best way to pay online)!

Ok will do... So its worth every dime? How bout those electric ram air?

I've checked the ram air intake such as RPI.. no doubt it's good but the main purpose of this ram is to enable cold air intake. Not applicable to our Malaysia's weather which is lembap and panas sepanjang tahun :D

Hi guys....

just my little input.... my ride is an E60 525i and i am on powerbox.....

Powerbox is serving me well. Impressive performance..... (*not super car but serve me well on Singapore Road)

I am not so hardcore like bros in this forum.

I am running PB and awaiting my remus quad to arrive in end july.... for stability, i am on KW street comfort. Air in-take, i am on K&N drop in filter.

Bro wolf73,

Yeah I have heard about powerbox :D was thinking to install on my E60 but since I have installed the aFe intake, overall ride has been improved especially during acceleration from standstill :top: the car doesn't feel that heavy anymore. By the way, how much did you pay for the Powerbox bro? Will it be cheaper in Singapore? If yes, do let me know coz I might ask my cousin to buy for me. Just PM me the place's name and location as well as all the relevant details :top: thanks ya!

Cool  your Remus Quad exhaust should further reduce any backpressure thus your pickup will feel easier! But there are two types of Remus quad exhaust... one with thicker exhaust tips which is better looking while another one with thinner tips. Check with your supplier ok?

I'm still on my stock M-Sport exhaust which is a bit balance between both comfort and sport (as long as I don't run on RFTs :D)

Hi thule,

PB cost me S$1150 (if i am not wrong) with installation. (this price is forum price) If you walk in the workshop, it may cost you S$1500. Do let me know and i can help you get @ forum price. Just get your cousin get in touch with me.

Regards to installation, your workshop able to handle? if not, good that you take a drive down Singapore for installation.

It's BMS Powerbox actually :) like a piggyback computer that add extra bhp and torque to your already powerful car :D add that with aFe intake, Remus exhaust & other aftermarket mods.. You will gain approx. 8-10bhp :top:
and if you still have doubt.. open up google and search for "BMS Powerhouse BMW E60" & you should be directed to more detailed explanation! I can only explain in laymen term :D

if i'm using sprint booster can i still use the powerbox?

Hi AC525,

PB comes with a throttle control.

just to put it simply, it taps into your ECU, lies to your stock ECU to push more air/gas to maximize output.

I did Velocity and removed it and decided to go for PB. it makes a difference.

BMS PowerBox, a piggyback system for the BMW N51/N52 motor. It features easy installation and removal, gas pedal switching between 7 performance maps, throttle pedal remapping for snappier response, and most importantly proven dyno gains.

PowerBox is unlike any other in the market in that it combines 2 products into one. You get real gains in Hp/Torque similar to ECU Remapping, as well as user adjustable Throttle Response similar to other Throttle Booster/TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) modification products.

Beta-tested and datalogging/dyno program will be offering a customized version with local maps taking into account SG & MY’s climate (Hot & Humid) and fuel (RON 97/98 ) conditions.

Temperature compensation algorithms as well as Ignition Timing & AFR maps have been suitably modified to provide optimum performance for our customers.

Installation is completely reversible with no cutting of wires, and is very discrete allowing most customers to leave the unit installed for basic service.

What the POWERBOX features:-
- Dyno proven increase in Horsepower & Torque
- User Adjustable Throttle Pedal Remapping for Better Response / Reaction
- 8 Maps & Settings including “Stock Bypass” Mode
- Can be turned on & off from inside the car
- Plug & Play
