ViVa BMW... :)

I'd test drive the new A4, don't really like the sterling, rest looks ok, but their FM Radio sound quality is definately worst than BMW though the CD/USB sound quality is on par or might even surpass BMW.

After a nightmare with my new E90, I would still go for an E90 anytime if I had to choose all over again. However, one thing to take note of though. When I was driving the coutersy car which is suppose to be a demo car that BMW loan me while my 3 months old E90 enjoy it's luxury stay in AB Service Hanger, I'd noticed that the engine rev and pickup of the 'newer' E90 is not as smooth as the one that I'm driving, and the sound insulation is actually not as good as mine, you can practically hear the engine reving like a diesel engine plus the wind breaking sound is quite loud while picking up the speed and also while cruising around 130-150km/h.

U might wanna test drive in all 3 different distributors and get a feel of it urself. I bought mine without test driving though.. haha

Hi Morgan,

What happened to your brand new E90? So you tried the face-lifted E90 (the courtesy car) from Auto Bavaria? Anything that I should be aware of before buying E90? Thanks.

i would pick B8 for these reasons:

1) fresh looks
2) fierce front end, matured and likeable rear end
3) turbo engine (more pickup + lower FC)
4) looks great in S-Line
5) interior quality

though it might and will lose out in driving dynamics being a front wheel drive also, i think most of the time spent driving is not spiritly but rather, sedately, and that's what matters. if u drive spiritly often, then the E90 is for you.

Let me simplify it for you:

A: if you drive like Aunty, buy the Audi

B: if you drive like a Boy racer, buy the BMW

:top:

Ultimately it still comes to the BMW. I've mentioned earlier that the local Audi distributor is a let-down. It is unfortunate that a luxury brand / product is being operated by a "lack-lustre" (i.e. the typical Malaysian "ok-boleh-lah" attitude) company. They are far behind others. Perhaps you can run the local or Japanese dealerships with those standards, but I don't think they have what it takes to sell vehicles starting from almost a quarter of a million Ringgit. Customers would want something that is above the norm.

BMW Malaysia is able to offer very low interest rate financing whereas the others simply can not match. Plus all the other benefits, services and support, and invitations to BMW events, etc. All of these add up the points. And so my final decision is sticking with BMW. I'm selling my E46 318, silver, tip top, 16" BMW, white lamps, PIAA bulbs, serviced by M Speed. Interested PM me. Cheers.

I went to Merc show room to check out the new C class again after I got frusfrated on my new E90, guess what the sales man told me...

Mercs are for the rich who has few cars at home, BMW are for the poor people who have to calculate the interest rate saving, shorter waiting period, blah blah blah....

lol...

Yo Bro,

Don't be fooled by them offering you lots of freebies and low interest rates and such. Just think about it....if you're the dealer and your products sells like
hot cakes, would you be even bordered to offer such things???? This is because their 3 series is due for a face-lift and furthermore all potential buyers are shifting to the stunning W204 or the B8, which are newer models.

Yeh right, AB is very good at selling BMWs because all they care is to sell and after that....the nightmare begins for you when comes to after sales service. They sucks big time!!!

Your decision should not be based on those extra goodies thrown in by a particular dealer/make BUT should be instead based on your personal needs and how you feel about that car and the image you want to project from it.

Anyway, happy shopping!

has anyone here actually experienced the audi after sales service? how bad or good are they compared to AB/Ingress auto?

The sales man told me the usual waiting period of 4-6 months is over and he can make arrangement to get me a new C-Class within 2 months, be it avantgarde or elegance. u don't wait for 2 months for your 3 series, u get ur car as soon as ur loan is approved.... lol

I didn't manage to test drive the C-Class because the salesman offered for me to test drive the E-Class instead....
