Wise words, JPB. Another thread has start on BMW vs Alfa. Maybe we should zip up on that issue, Seles.

aiyo! this has never been a thread about alfa vs. bmw la... only some insecure buggers attack alfa by defending bmw vehemently... you know who they are!

look, alfa is taboo word here. do not mention. just mention italian styling and that maybe more acceptable to these folks.

kalau you mention alfa again, it is like virus zeroday attack la. all hell breaks loose...

JPB, I also had a slightly hot exchange with seles once, but we kiss and make up already :D

Nothing wrong with things heating up sometimes, because I think we're all passionate people, otherwise we won't be on this forum. Life is not meant to be dull for BM-ers (or Alfistas), but it's up to some of us to jump in and cool things when it get too hot.

seles, where are you man? Say something la.... :)

cheers to the once alfista aka cooling expert.
hey man, my 88deg c thermostat is running well. macam rock solid. i learned something from you dude!

Nothing wrong with Alfa's lar bro, nobody attack Alfa...we are not again the alfa marque. Only you have a problem, insecure bugger and too protective....when said somethings about Alfa Sillyspeed you will jump like porno dancer.

I wish I could post the BMW, Audi, Subaru and Bentley advert sliming each other. Those who have seen that will agree it was so funny till I almost had heart attack!

i almost bought an A4 2.0TFSI but after driving the 325 e90, it was a clear decision despite lesser torque and straight line speed...somehow, the bmw just feels more connected with driver. having owned a mazda rx8 previously, i'd say the handling of the e90 is pretty close...

Have u guys realized that RGKID actually posted that he bought the car aledi???? E46f and David seem to know.. Not sure about the rest..

Anyway, bear in mind that there are different needs for different folks. So it's an endless cycle going on this merry go round...

Hi all.....

We have decided on A after the second test drive. My heard says B but just that the package offered by A is too difficult to resist and A is the car we are looking for.

My brother-in-law has an RX8 that I was driving before taking delivery of the E90, and I have to say that I actually find the handling of the E90 much better than the RX8. Maybe it's the sport steering or suspension, but the feel of control over the car when I'm gripping the wheel is noticably superior in the E90. The RX8 is about 3 years old now, so maybe it's just that the E90 is still new(ish) and the RX8 has loosened up a bit...

E90 > B7 ... even most Audi drivers/owners agree

agreed,i'd get the e90..no doubts whatsoever.there is just no contest here, the 325i trounces the b7 a4 in almost all areas..my humble opinion.

the only area which is still in limbo is the tuning potential of the new engine..haven't seen any yet thus far.the a4 is much easier to extract power from, being a turbo and all..so i'm waiting in anticipation for this particular aspect.
