All the crap aside la... So where would you like to go to for this / next month's drive? I start the ball rolling by proposing a few here: -

- Port Dickson picnic - day trip.
- Fraser's Hill - 1 night
- Melaka town drive - day trip
- Ulu Yam drive - day trip
- Genting drive - day trip

What say you fellas?:)

Port Dickson?

Something interesting for you guys to ponder upon....

Semi spirited countryside driving from Batu Caves to Batu Gajah (via the trunk road) - Visit Kellies Castle. A distance of 177km (about 3hrs of normal pace driving). Then can picnic or pot-luck there or makan at Batu Gajah town.
After lunch, we'll drive via the trunk road (Heading South) to Gua Tempurung (Ex-communist hide-out), about 38.5km of countryside driving. Be prepared to get wet if going into the caves.

The 2 places are worth a visit & the drive should be fun. Drive back to KL via the NSE (approximately 176km).

Kellie's Castle is orait la, but can't really picnic there. Moreover, it's just the castle & a small petting zoo. No shops nearby. The drive would be fun though.

brother.. he did not die at the castle lahh...

For the record, during the 1918, there was a pendermic where most of the craftsman imported from India died to make the castle.

Ah, you are right....so we'll be "seeing" some souls of Indian craftsmen instead...

William Kellie Smith died of pneumonia during his short trip to Portugal in 1926.

If you want to go to the 3rd stage of Gua Tempurung ( that is the part where you get wet ). Need to be there before noon IF I am not mistaken.

So many suggestions, let Mr Prez decide and we just follow.

last monday...xxx, wc9922 and me had a mini monthly drive to fraser hill via batu caves, ulu yam and kuala kubu baru on a very short notice kinda thing (less than 24 hours planning kind)...when we arrive the traffic was abit bad due to alot of cars waiting to go down hill...we had a tea break with scones...yummy at the smoke house guest house...

the road was nice to drive but with a some 'gaps' that takes a toll on our e39's headlight adjuster brackets...but nevertheless we did enjoyed ourself...for me i got to learn about the e39 handling ability compared to my e60 on the same route i took last year...

few photo to share...
