Monthly Weekend Drive - 24 April 2010 - Malacca

For the going home convoy,.......DigitalPunk your 7 sure can run. I think the newer 7er just gave up so did the LCI 3er.....Most arrive home around midnight with a lot of bugs on the front of the car.

Bro, my passengers had a good time listening to your walkie chatter when you wanted to stop at the petrol station before the Ayer Keroh toll :24:

My ride became a German bug killer last night... sent it to Carnauba this morning for some bug removal. I was following Stanley back and we were just cruising along, so I had a laugh at that Volvo that kept flashing and trying to overtake us, but didn't seem to have much oommpphh to leave us behind when we gave way (we had plenty in reserve, just not in the mood to use it). He must have been frustrated when it took him ages to overtake us, but whenever we overtook him, it was done in mere moments.

Bro, at the night market car park I had already wanted to go, but then I said never mind lah, hold till the highway. With T2 leading the way to Ayer Keroh toll taking all the traffic lights and long route......just too much.

Didn't remember what was said on the radio.........but it must surely sound urgent. Hope they were not offended.

I took 2 hours to wash the car today. I had bugs splatter on the fog lights, front plates, bumper trims , windscreen was like a rainbow screen of bug paste, wipers, a pillars, window seals, wing mirrors.....

Nah.. My car is heavy & a bit lacking in catching up with all the 5s. Will try after replace my vanos seal again. Anyway, I have so much fun driving last night. hehe.... Are we organizing another one next month in May? I will be away from the 6th till 12th May. Penang drive?

Wei, there's no need to go to Carey Island.

Your apartment swimming pool water is much cleaner than the sea. Kids can have a good time. No sharks.... We promise not to piss or wash plates in it. Orang Asli we can invite some friends over.

You only have to manage the BBQ pit, yes BBQ....CHEF

Stanley can advise you what to grill ...and in case you catch fire, very likely .......we'll provide the fire extinguishers.... just in case........

Bro......thats a good idea.......lets look into organizing a sort of BBQ with all the OMs...........I can look at the marination of meats and seafood.........I already got kang tou in getting good quality seafood from Malacca........from the same joint that we had dinner......

Something happended along the way... lots of traffic cops....on the B roads! Convoy asked to pull over.

This poor guy was the last rider. Almost 5 km behind. But he had the spirit to keep going.....but I heard later on he gave up.

Later on BMWCM convoy had to stop again for another kind of convoy near Masjid Tanah:

Arriving in Melaka via Tengkera, stopped again for another kind of convoy : Yamaha Kap Chai club.

After Lunch at the Nyonya Restaurant and the drift wheel spin demo by XXX and T2 withness by Mega, we parked at the entrance of Dataran Pahlawan shopping mall.

Now for some of the shots at dinner, lots of Ikan Bakar, 30 packets of nasi lemak, 10 coconuts, 8 jugs of juice and lots of Sotong!

Lastly after dinner, the people went for a walk-walk, look-see look-see at Jonker Street before leaving for KL.

A very big thank you to all that joined in the fun.. it was a lovely day.. and also thank you n kudos to the Melaka boys for your support and assistance and our CMs as well ..Good Job guys !! :top::top: .. the drive was nice and quite scenic.. apologies for not being able to join for lunch and dinner .... i am still groggy from my round the world trip.. came back few days back n still on US time.. so ... siang tido, malam JAGA .. and yesterday didn't sleep thru d nite, went for drive(degil... still wanna join u guys lah) , drove back , didn't eat (only 1 piece KFC for breakfast at sg besi n lempeng kelapa) and straight away played football on full field at 5pm at Stadium Maktab Perguruan Teknik ..and by 8pm was at clinic seeking medical attention already aiyaaaa..thot still young ..NOW I feel OLD...

This drive was nice and relaxed.. imagine the Cameron drive in May would be awesome.. I had to miss lunch coz got appointment in KL at 2pm but missed that also coz the traffic jam in Melaka was madness.. from Dataran Pahlawan to Ayer Keroh Toll took me 1 hour plus.. so many traffic lights and it was just after school .. and then some roads were closed.. pengsan wor!
