Yeap yeap....great drive but thousand apology to the rest coz have to wait for me during the drive from Tanjung Malim to Kuala Selangor....hope next time boleh catch up.....and many thanks to Redbaron sebab sanggup berkorban bawa slow...heheheh....thank u to QD pun...panas hati nie bang....kasut dah repair dah....kereta esok lak .....and for the rest of the members....fuhh!!! memang helpful and friendly....good trip

HI Iceman13, sorry for not replying your query earlier as I was still in my Chinese New Year celebratory mood.

To begin with, I fully echo Juan Powerblow's statement on how the club is not only about organising and attending drives, TTs and as such. There are people like Juan, Yazid, Grace, Okow, Pussy, droid and John.J whom have worked and contributed to the club immensenly in order for us to reach where we are today (there are plenty of mundane jobs at the back of the so called office such as members registration/renewal, merchandise ordering, sponsorship meetings, collecting sponsorship items and etc etc).

As such, in the present committee everyone has their own strengths and specific tasks have been allocated to each, since the first committee meeting (if this helps you to understand the structure of how we work TOGETHER!). To elaborate a little more, Juan Powerblow has been instrumental in getting the ROS and previous AGM 2007 minutes (yes Iceman13, when you were one of the committee members) matters sorted out and that took plenty of paperwork and running around to PutraJaya.

There is absolutely no reason to nitpick and compared what the present and past committees have done or have not done. To me, what has happened in the past is history, YOU had the opportunity to contribute when you were a committee member and whether you had done enough, you yourself is the best judge.

I also took offence in your accusation on one of my committee member for not attending the drive which I think is really unbecoming of someone that has been in the club as long as you. For your information, John.J was involved in a work related accident and have got six stitches on him. For that matter, I think you owe him a big apology.

Last but not least, I will not tolerate anymore unfair criticisms and unsubstantiated accusations on any of my committee members from you. Positive and constructive criticisms are always welcome, and more importantly remember this, this is a car club of which all of us treasure and love. Let's not ruin it, but help to bring it to a new level and I believe everyone has got an important role to play!

some people can comment and say any insensitive remarks about others, instead of contributing to the best interest of the club progress...making remarks about about committee members mean all the 9 of us as whole ? even RB ? even Me ?

Even, if i have to feed 5 mouths and work thru out the weekend, am i not worthy of being a committee member of the club ? label me also ?

I did make a point to join later for dinner, without even having dinner with my family and relatives at my own home. label me also ?

So, Iceman13 if there is a hidden agenda in all the remarks so far, hopefully it can be resolved instead of taking it personal...
You are one of the person that really help us during 2008Bimmer Fest, hopefully this kind of contribution from you will be forth-seeing to us...

To all the participating BCM folks, this was a very very nice drive. 1st time in years that I had a good night's sleep on Saturday without any assistance from booze

Shamkasio, thanks for the wonderful route from Pau place to Seafood place. Konna power, slipping but still in control, had a fun time bouncing around at one of the straights. Only if it didn't rain...

So now you know why QD rempit all the way in the estate road to kuala selangor in heavy rain and made all corners straight.

Dear friends,
I just want to clarify that I had to pull out of the drive due to a small fall I had which needed 20 stitches( I thought 10 ) to my lower left jaw. I was admitted for 3 days. I’m okay now but taking liquid food and plenty of rest. Feeling nauseous all the time maybe due to the pathedine and dopamine they administered. It was good to see all the photos and big hats off to our VP for the great organizing work.

Another thing which I like to stress here is that we are here as hobbyists passionate about our UDM which actually brought us together through this distinguished club. We are here to contribute towards the club in all ways but most importantly family, career, health and wealth always comes first for if it was not for all of that, we cannot even own a UDM let alone join this club. We should always understand that if someone has work or is unhealthy or has some family commitments and he cannot attend any drives or gatherings, we as “Mature Adults” MUST I stress Must be human enough to understand that rather than pass unnecessary remarks which may hurt the concerned party.

Btw, all those going for drives especially the senior members are actually quite aware of convoys and emergencies and it doesn’t make sense that all the committee members have to be there to “baby sit” the drivers as implied by one of the postings.

Anyway, see y’all as soon as I’m well and thank you so much for all the well-wishers through postings, phone call and sms.
