I was not only controlling my machine, I was in control.
Thats the moral of this story....learn and push your ride (whatever you ride) to match and NOT exceed your own experience and ability but before that, understand Newton's Laws on Motion and Gravity, under and oversteer, road conditions, car maintenance, tyre condition etc etc etc.......
Thank you.

i met with one 3 weeks back as well... took a corner to fast, stepped on the pedal and the next thing i know i was already driftin and next thing i know i am parked on the middle divider... safed many mishaps like the street lamp was removed from a previous accident, that particular 30 m did not have large trees in the middle of the divider, no much traffic, did not skid over to the opposite direction.
bend my rims, tore some bushes, broke my fan, punctured my radiator and caused an hefty bill... among all thank God nothin happened to me and my fiancee...
i was using a 16'' with 205 55 Falken Azenis ST115 used up 60%. during my drives in the highways, i used to push the car on the corners... now since am shaken... will take a while... upgrade rims and tyres to 18" 225 40 Dunlop DZ101. feels much better on the corners and also stand still pick ups.
cheers...

Okow, i bet u turn your steering damper FULL ON for this one...yes, i heard abt this bike's reputation too....
AnGeLiCdEmOn108 said:thanks for the advice mate...
any idea what will be the ideal speed on a wet road for a 18'' 225 40 series?
okow said:No Jules, mine was the first ever batch that didnt come with a steering damper...that was the scary bit! Suzuki rectified it much later and sent one over - foc
People thiink I was mad to ride it that hard but hey, I had fun as knew my limits.... which were way below what my bike was capable of and at the same time treating my machine with great respect.

flash said:veli the true.... i will usually keep to a speed in which i have my full steering "feel". if it ain't there, i will slow down until i find it back. erh, do i make sense?
AnGeLiCdEmOn108 said:however car setting is veli hard to measure... using wider tyres are not advisable for wet road, how wider is wide? fixing performance suspensions for the car is recommended for stability and handling however since there is lesser room space between the tyres and the body, again not advisable for raining season huh...
mmm morning wish list:
1. 1 touch button for car setting to be for wet road and another button for dry road.
