Guys, be very careful when driving on NKVE. How many of you notice that nowadays there seem to be a lot of debris on NKVE. You get to see blown tyre debris from lorries, metal sheets, big stones, blah blah blah. Was driving on NKVE back from work just now around 6pm++. Was following this 4WD and suddenly a piece of dried mud fell from the 4WD and hit the ground before boucing back into my car's undercarriage. It was only a piece of dried mud so no big deal. Then later on I was behind this @$%^^& kancil, the driver was kind enough to move into the middle lane, allowing me to pass through but suddenly I saw 2 pieces of dunno what fell from the kancil and this time *sigh* the same thing happened, they bounced on the ground before going into my car's undercarriage. I heard some loud noises like it hit something hard. About 200 metre later, I heard this strange noise from the front of the car so I thought something must have gone wrong. So stopped by Shell station to have a look and to my surprise, the 2 thingy hit the lower bumper before hitting the plastic cover on the left hand side. The plastic cover seem to have broken and hanging down, scratching the road surface. :( Left with no choice I had to drive back slowly and dropped by my mechanic place. They told me the so called "daun pisang" which covers the wheel arch has broken and quite costly to repair. So he only help me to screw it back using a sharp edge screw. Luckily no serious damage to the car, only a broken plastic flap, some scratches on the bumper and a few paint scratch on the front right fender.Sigh....:(

by the way, is it very expensive to replace the plastic flap (the so called daun pisang). The mechanic told me it comes in 1 whole set including the part covering the wheel arch.
pls advise.

 ouch i feel your pain..not only NKVE,nowadays it seems like everywhere got debris..thank god elections coming,so now most roads being resurfaced :D go BN!!! ehem
