Red E34... hmm... can recall what rims is the car using?

Ohhhh No... In a forum full of testosterone, in breezes a waft of estrogen.

Trouble's a brewing

sorry to hear this bro...that bend was famous for peoples to hit kelapa sawit tree, that suspicious...me one time front tyres skip while taking that bend.
Bro did u do ur alingment at the Top Speed glanmarie? from my experienced TopSpeed was S.UCK.

sorry to hear this bro. what i know is kurnia is fastest if your claim is below 3-5k. other than that they can be considered damn slow. what u can do is to follow up closely with ur workshop and kurnia. maybe u allow them 3 weeks after that just draft a letter to them asking them to agree to the claimed amount. normally they will deny first 2 times then the last time they will agree to it but with some condition. So the only thing u can do now is to make sure that M1 gonna use genuine new parts to replace your damaged parts. most of them will change it to second hand or used items. so keep an eye or drop by as frequent as you can.

thanks for the advice bm8118. will try and pop at the workshop as often as reasonably possible. anyway the mechanic there said that they will call me everytime they want to install something, so that i can come and see that it's a genuine bmw part and it is new. hopefully they keep up to their words.

well i hope tht all has been settled by now suntze....

on a different note,on wednesday night while driving back to shah alam via the plus nkve highway me and pipa saw a black e46 with e46 m3 rims on the opposite road stopped width wise in the middle of the road with a lorry facing it...say around 4 ft away.....initially i thought tht the lorry had hit the e46 but after asking passers by wht happened,it seems tht the driver was speeding in the rain and lost control, hitting the barrier and thn coming to a halt right in front of the shell station b4 the damansara turn off.
the udm was quite damaged at the front and drivers side but luckily he managed to get out from the passenger side.

caused quite a jam though with all the kpc's.....(i only stopped bcoz i thought i could help him,but seeing tht i was on the opposite lane,i decided not to as a lot of cars were 'flying' on my side of the highway.)
deciding tht it was unwise to cross to his aide(he walked away to a safer spot).....pipa decided to call the plus ronda guys to inform thm of the accident.....

well at least the driver was ok....pity bout the car though.

guess the rain hasnt been kind to udm's huh?

rgds,
-brad-

there seems to be a lot of accident nowadayas. there are a few acccident cars at M1 Kayu Ara now. So guys, be careful....

thanks all for the kind words...

Hey Bro, just wanted to know hw's ur car? hope it's up and running again :D Btw, just wanted to share, my buddy's fren experiencing the same incident.
He's driving an E46 as well, in a rainy day, taking the corner just exactly what happened to you. It happened just after the Karak Gombak Toll plaza. Sorry I'm not sure where it is exactly.
Seems that, his rear tyre (a high performance tyre) has been expired - said someone (I think one of the mechs). It's not worn-out or 'botak' but according to him, high performance tyres has it expiry date frm the manufacturer date ..
Maybe any sifus here can confirmed this...

I thought all tyres got life expectancy of 4 years from the manufacturers date? There was a thread on this not too long ago... Dont know how to link to the page... Anyone can help place the link?

:D I thinks the tyre got harden after sometime and it dont have the grip anymore. Even the tyre still new and hardly used. Expired tyre may get harden or less grip.... some sifu can confirm this. ?
I experience this with Falken GRB on my Civic, the car just like on ice if rain.

Some fren in told me to chk the tyre with good grip, chk after long distance say 1-2 hours drive/ hot tyre, if the tyre show like shinny it is good or if it stick a tissue is even better. Compound is very soft and sticky.......just some local ideas :D
