It is easier to cut the stopper than cut the bulb base for me.
We need to stick the bulb base to the socket, if we cut the bulb base, then the surface is reduce so it might not secure when there is pothole. I have the experience which the bulb fall down before. We need to use the super duper glue to get them stick together otherwise u will see the light is shaking (in case your headlight adjuster is not broken).

Finally bought some proper D2S bulbs to replace the old one. The old one produces different color and tilted so the beam is not as composed. These are Philips 85122+

Bro, it's still electrolytic. Not sure about the value, but to choose one make sure it is higher than 12v. The bigger capacitance the better >470uF. And place it as close as possible to the LED
