The parts were sourced online. The headlight assembly came from US, FXR projector from Hong Kong etc. All are through eBay

Bro, need to check tomorrow to be sure. But something like 1000uF 16V would work for that application..

Hi bro , i have install the 10000uF 16v capacitor in my angle eyes but my angel eyes is still flickering . Where did i go wrong ? Pls advice . Thanks

Your angel eyes, is it LED or CCFL? How is it powered? through relay or replacing other bulb?

Mine is E39 and i change the bulb to LED type .

Bro, does the flickering stops when the engine stop or only when engine is running? The signal sent to the bulb may already pulsed (PWM) causing the LED to flicker. Is the capacitor placed close to the LED? How about bigger capacitor value - could be expensive though? You could also try fixing through coding the LCM if all else fail

The flickering only happen when i turn my key to the on position just before i start the car . After the engine has been started the flickering will stop if i on my headlamp . If the headlamp is off then it will flicker intermittenly once every 3 to 5 minutes . I have placed the capacitor close to the LED . Anyway i may try bigger capacitor as suggested by you and see what happen . Thanks .

Bro gtgh, it sounds like the flickering happens when he LCM is doing bulb check. This can be cancelled using the BMW scanner 1.4. Let us know how it goes..

1. Fix that outstanding alignment so that the angel eyes fully visible
2. Put another set of HID on the outer projector for show only

Since my parking lamp is removed, it is going to activate low beam HID. Position 2 switch will activate the for-show outer projectors. Need to sort out the capability to flash though...

Yes there is update, here's a preview

Yes since we will be removing and replacing bulbs so the bulb check may not be valid anymore. Without this there could be bulb error on the dash.

Is it my eyes or the alignment of the projectors seems odd? The inner [left side as seen in this pic] projector seems to point slightly downward...

Would love to do this for my ride!
