Thanks skinhead, xcrave. Yup I chose to go for black instead of chrome or silver. Now need to install and align..

i realize u have similar hid ballast as mine xcept mine is black in color. its slim and very easy to hide..:top:

for e39 its "very" difficult to remove the clear front cover. almost imposible. if not im tempted to install another projector for the high beam. when u cut the back cover and slot in the projector, how those assembly suppose to be held together ??

Hi skinhead,

The projector is mounted in the bowl with two screws. One as a pivot point while another one is adjustable, this is to provide rotational alignment for the beam. Hope this makes sense. Pictures of these are taken but not yet uploaded. Will do later..

This is how the FX-R projector is mounted, a pivot screw at bottom left, adjustable at top right

bmw7833, this project took forever as well. It all started since April..

Thanks guys, yet to take output picture to compare with halogen

Bro Aidilj, your day time shots are amazingly bright! not to mention sexy too

Do capture some night shots as well....with low & high beam.

Notice your right inner ring on the bottom side is not visible as compared to the left ring. Maybe some slight adjustment needed perhaps.

p.s:I like the the subtle blueish hue surrounding the rings reflecting the housing. Nice.

bimmerholic, in case you thought the lights are switched on when taking the picture, they're not. The white color in the projector is the reflection from the painted shield/shutter (see first post), the picture is taken with flash on. Only the angel eyes is on, and the blueish hue is because the angel eyes is 6000K. Anyway, my circuit won't allow both projectors to be on at the same time.

Yeah the bottom part of the angel eyes is blocked by the black plastic. If I were to adjust the light to show the right then the beam would be too high. The ring was also moved the highest possible. I would probably live with it or cut the black plastic trim to expose the hidden LEDs.

Yes output shot comparison between halogen and xenon are being prepared. Already have for halogen, need time for xenon and then I would say this project is complete and move on..

How did that happen to your right when your left rings are just perfect?? Oh is it because your left beam is adjusted on a different angle compared to the right...yea i get it now. :)
