Another carputer in Penang

Just a few days ago I learnt that there is another carputer equipped BMW in Penang. It is our Bro Kevin's, installed in E39 with Space Navigator introducing iDrive-like control. Check it out guys! Nice to meet you Bro Kevin.

Logitech 3D Connexion Space Navigator ... Not cheap and hard to find. How much did he get that controller for?

Well i do agree that its quite expensive and hard to find nowadays. I bought them as apair when i was in UK few years back. I got them on offer for smth like RM 400 for both at the time. The space navigator use to be a problem with carpc's in the past as there was no proper plugin's for it as most users had to use RBC9 which is a third party software to enable the use which was quite problematic with BSOD other issues. Lately 3D connexion has come out with their very own plugin for any 3rd party software and seems to work flawlessly. So i do recommend one if your into it and u can customise it to your needs. Try checking out Ebay or amazon. They are alot of sellers still selling them. Hope this helps.

Bump! Second year and carputer still working..

Some updates I didn't share earlier, dashcam was installed and now removed

Hardware update: the DIY amplifier is to be replaced with this, Rockford Fosgate boosted rail amplifier. To be installed soon
