My G30 530i shows service interval of 12000km or 1 year.

That's much better than the 25000km CBS service interval for the E90 or E60. That caused a lot of engines having oil sludge problem.

How about other models ie F10 & F30?

Kudos to BMW Msia. 12000km is much better although i would have preferred 10000km interval of the old days.

My F10 shows interval of 12000km for service. Still keep to the max 10000km interval for regular oil change and service. But to be honest, due to my travels, actually change when it reaches 7500km, as that is when the engine oil start dipping and lose approx 500ml.

but thats just me.....

Thks Gendong for sharing. I'll probably do that too.

For my E90, I target changing oil every 6 months of so.

Probably pay for the 6 months oil change myself.

More so since i intend to keep my car longer than the 5 years warranty period.

It is set to 12,000km, but is condition-based, so it depends on how you drive your car. Once it drops below 2,000 km remaining, it turns yellow and you can send in for oil service.

12000km for F30. 9000km for E84

Yes my F10 shows 12k but after few weeks driving, the CBS shows service will be due in 8k, maybe due to my driving pattern.

It's normal and expected behavior. They set it 12,000 km all the time and depending on driving conditions, the car will prompt you for the next service. It alerts you when it's 2,000km to actual service mileage and if you calculate, it's around +/- 8,000 km usually.
