Had my first oil change at 7200km today, the oil change service light came off last week at 2000km to oil change. Job consist of oil change, oil filter change, air cond filter change and new sets of wiper. At the same time, claimed warranty for rusted door hinge nuts, all replaced to my satisfaction. Auto Bavaria Penang reset the next oil service to 9000km. I was told my batch comes with 12000km service interval at the point of purchase, but this is better than expected.
I had my first BSRI oil change at 7800 kms with Auto Bavaria JB, but only engine oil and oil filter will changed. They did not change the wipers and air-con filter. Was wondering there are any standard items they should change under first BSRI?

Also, the next oil service was reset to 11,000 kms, not 9,000 kms as stated above. Why the inconsistencies?

I have another 100km to go for my first service, do we really need to wait until ngam ngam or can we just send the car for service before the 100km?

As soon as the oil change indicator lights up on your odometer, you are entitled.

2 years back they allowed mileage within 2500km of service interval. Now I remember they mentioned within 1000km.

Wow not bad u guys getting 9k instead of 12k intervals. Really pity the other guys with an absurd 30k interval
I am the first batch owner and my car only entitles for two free BSRI services. First first free BSRI service for oil change was done at 30k. Today, my 3-year BSRI shall expire. But, my mileage is only 56k. I was updated by the Service Advisor that BMW Malaysia only approves oil change and wiper replacement, the rest of items proposed such as spark plugs were rejected.

The on-board computer shows the front brake discs on my car have the remaining lifespan of another 7k. Physically, it is 18.7mm thick, about 0.3mm more than the minimum 18.4mm. Yet, BMW Malaysia rejected the replacement.

I am very furious about this and I feel cheated. The second batch of the F30 receive free BSRI at 12k interval. For me, I forked out my own money to maintain at 10k interval because my entitlement is 30k interval. Now, for this last BSRI interval, BMW Malaysia is penalizing me for underutilizing the car. Even the disc is merely 2% above the minimum level, BMW Malaysia refused to replace.

In Aug 2013, I actually sent a legal letter to BMW Malaysia for producing and delivering a problematic car to me. This latest experience in BSRI really upset me! Anyone complain the BSRI agreement to Ministry of Domestic Trade Cooperative and Consumerism?

Hi all, I have a question about the CBS interval? when I first got my car it shows 12k KM or Juy 2016. However, after driving for more than 1k KM, it still shows the same 12k KM of OBC whenever I start my car.

Does the OBC or vehicle information shows countdown to servicing?
