my high beam is the bulb type....

bro, all high beam are usually Halogen type.

Low beam are usually HID (like mine) or Halogen (like yours)

Only difference are the pre-facelift (up to 2001) and facelift type (from 2001 till 2005)

I prefer to do the old fashion way by taping the supply from the pilot lamp at the high beam side.

This way, the angel eye turn ON when I turn on my headlamp at position 1 and position 2.
This way, only one side of angel eye is turn ON when I toggle the turn signal further DOWN or UP.

I do not use the relay harness for the above.

Thanks jarance.

I like the feature that the lights come on when you unlock your doors and fades away. Is this do-able with LEDs?

Which method are we going to go for this weekend?

The car can turn its parking lights separately left and right as well? wow so complex these machines electrical.

Ade, this is doable with the wiring harness. The harness has two triggers one for normal operation and another is the fade in and out. You'll need to connect the other trigger to the cabin lighting for remote operation. I'm planning to do this but haven't a chance.

Yes, if you push the left signal a bit further up, the left side angel will only turn ON. Likewise, if you push the right signal lever.

This feature is standard lar. Even my E36 also have this feature.

We are going for the simple wiring. It take too long to pull a wiring from the outside to the inside compartment and also the relay compartment.

KISS - keep it simple and sweet.
