The engine code is the important part. If the engine is an n52b25, it is 218hp. Since it came with chrome window trims, it is a non m-sport. Not sure why there is no push start. There could be some batches without
Anyway, was told the 2 "M" and "N" series drive very differently. The "M" has better low rpm responsiveness while the "N" give better smoothness in high rpm range. Go test drive and feel for yourself la.
I never had to top up. Mine was a E60 2009 Msport LCi 525i. But i replace the engine oil every 6000km. I think the engine never had a chance to "makan" oil.
Have you check if your car's exhaust emits "white" smoke?
Previously, I had a 520i 2007 (also E60) and I remembered that car's engine need to top up a little (about 900ml - 1liter) every 5-6k kms but not 2 liters like you mentioned.
Yes topping up 2-3 litres before each service of 8000-9000 milleage is normal for magnesium engine as was told by ks auto bmw specialist in usj 1. Mine also happen the same but so far so good.
