sorry guys if this topic has been discuss b4, but i could not find it to continue the discussion, hence i start a new one. i have found the solution where some of the member think that it cannot be solved. most of our member face this problem especially the CKD model for E46. everytime we need to press the air circulation mode to prevent smell from coming into the car. i think CBU and recond spec. do not have this problem as its preset to close the flap automatically whenever the engine is switch ON. (i thought the same and have to live with it for CKD model) however, it actually can be done coz my mechanic have set for me using GT1. looking at the default mode on GT1, its actually programme for the flap to stay open until we turn it OFF on the circulation mode. he use GT1 to reset it to close the flap (that means the mode will permantely stay whenever we start our engine) i did it in M-speed in USJ. hope u guys can solve the problem now. (now everytime start engine no need to press the air circulation mode to close the flap, muchhhhhhhhh easier)

I taught Ah Meng that just last week while going through some of the menus on the GT1 (cos i knew it can be done but never really had hands-on on the GT1). :)

Btw, i also changed my wiper speed to slow one setting when i come to a complete stop (it changes back to your setting once the car moves again). This was standard on the E36 but the setting was OFF in the E46. I prefer it the E36 way so i used the GT1 to reset the factory default too.

Having the same problem on my E46 CBU.. where to fix it?

Yes, he may be good. But he still doesnt have a GT1 diagnostic machine....

3er,
You are correct! Naidu is only able to block-out the "undesirable exterior air"!
I will also send mine to M1 to fix it!

Cheers

Guys, any idea if the CKD e90 would have the same problem of manual pressing or it can be set ???

Thanks dude on the wiper information. I been wondering about that too. Initially I thought my E36 got rain sensor :D.

Will get it set next time i service the car.
